One of these days we're gonna get organizized.

Gangsters: Organized Crime, a multi-layered strategy game that puts you in charge of a small family business (a.k.a. crime syndicate) in a prohibition-era Chicago-like city, is now available on GOG.com for only $5.99.

Dear judge Michaels! I'm writing to you in hope to clear some common misconceptions about myself, my family, and the business we run. We take pride in our little Pizzeria and we won't have anyone badmouthing us. There's simply no reason anyone should believe that we sell liquor. My grandma is a god-fearing woman, see? She wouldn't have that. Someone must have mislead our dear law enforcement. Must have been the Firnellis. It's just like them to try and frame honest folk for their own shenanigans. And while I'm on the topic of Firnellis, I was devastated just as everyone else when the young Antonio Firnelli was found in that alley. Why would anyone suggest that it was one of my boys that stabbed the poor fella? I knew him since he was a bambino! He was like family. And speaking of family: your grandson is having such a great time in our lakeside cabin, that I thought we should let him be our guest for a little while longer. I know you'll be passing a ruling in the case of my nephew Roberto (who was visiting his aunt at the time of that terrible shooting, by the way) on Friday. So let's say we keep your kid entertained till Saturday. Fresh air is good for kids. We can even take him fishing. Or not. It's entirely up to you.
Sincerely,
Donatello "Don" Casandrino

Gangsters: Organized Crime lets you manage all aspects of a mob "family business". Set in a vast city presented in detailed isometric view and populated with over 5,000 individual characters, it features real-time action mixed with careful planning. Did you think that being a Don is easy? Now you can see first-hand how complicated a life of crime might get!

Become an "honest businessman" and put the concrete shoes on your competitors' feet in Gangsters: Organized Crime, for only $5.99!

Not my cup of tea but will settle for KKND instead.
Could never get into this game, not least because the interface is absolutely appallingly bad. Still KKND is a good release.
oh dear. I tried, tried, and tried, and tried again. I'm way way too dumb fir this kind of management game. On the paper, it looked great, the options, theoric gameplay, possibilities (trail enemy goons in the crowd to locate their hidehout) were so thrilling. So I had bought it as soon as it came out. But... this is worse than tropico for me. I'm just completely hopeless at it. It's like a completely foreign, nice-sounding language.

If you have the mental abilities, get it. I'm jealous of you.
YEEEEHAAAAAA!!!
Nice release I guess (good price point, fair extras) but not my cup of tea.
Nice to have a string of classic releases. This is the gog we know and love!

I can't really justify a purchase at present though. I went on a crazy spending spree during the summer sales and have so many games to play already.
Sound like my kind of game. Wislisted for now.
Instabuy. I seriously didn't expect this one, one of my favourite games ever. I still have the original CD somewhere. Great work
Sounds pretty awesome.
This is a good day. Two games that I've been looking for being released on the same day. =)
I got this one mixed up with Chicago 1930 (which is similar to Commandos, Desperados & Robin Hood) so going to give it a miss.

Its great that they are releasing a good amount of classics recently :)
Very nice, I loved this game and played it to death.Been waiting for this release on GoG for quite some time now!
Exactly the kind of game that I love. I think I still have two retail copis laying around here somewhere. Will probably buy another copy though (if there is nothing interesting for me in the weekend promo), because I don't want to spend my spare computer time, trying to get old games to run on Windows7.

So nice release, GOG. Wishlisted for now.
gog, was it really necessary to rename the default gang leader to Good "Old" Games? I appreciate the CD music running off HDD (even though the ambient noise fits the game better, than the OST), but what the hell? Gogless One in Planescape next?
