Seeing double.
Seeing double.

Fractured Soul, a classics-inspired action platformer challenging you to play simultaneously across two realities for an enthralling arcade experience, is available 10% off on GOG.com. That's only $8.99 for the first week.

Fractured Soul puts you in control of the entity--one soul stretched across two dimensions, each of them quite similar, but not the same. Double the information input, double the effort to process it, double the fun from overcoming the challenges. Your character is able to shift between two worlds in an instant, but it's up to you to take in what's happening in both of them at any given time, to make sure your use of that ability leads to optimal results. Hardcore bonus challenge levels are unlocked through 5 star performances in the main game. You can also take on the challenge of Fractured Soul with a friend, in local co-op mode. The game comes bundled with a full soundtrack, both in MP3 and FLAC format.

Give your brain an exercise in multi-tasking with the devious arcade mindgame that is Fractured Soul, for only $8.99 on GOG.com. The 10% off special release discount offer lasts until Tuesday, March 4, at 10:59AM GMT.
I think it's really neat to see more 3DS and handheld system games come to PC like this. And this title specifically looks really neat indeed. I hope to score it soon.

Wishlisted!

Probably a good game, but reading that quote made me roll my eyes a bit. I guess because I recall GOG using "hardcore" on several occasions to describe indie platformers.

Interested in reading that regional pricing letter.

*cough* of course.
I really did not think that highly of this when I played it on 3DS - especially the frustrating shmup sections. Anyway, I never ended up finishing it, maybe the ending is fantastic though?

I wonder how much has been improved in the PC version.

Oh trust me. It is hardcore. I have it on 3DS. If you want difficulty, you've got it.

Naturally you mean science, where "hardcore" refers to the hardening of the Earth's core.
Hmm, this seems to be an awesome game!
Reviews are good, like the graphics style and on top of that it´s kind of cheap---I´ll buy go and get that one ASAP!

Yeah, but you should have seen the horror of his "Hardcore Double Penetration Sim" theorizing the K-T Event was two impacts. >.<

so GOG people
is this game challenging?
Good release with bonuses.
I bought the game, and I can tell you the screen crunch is killing this version for me.

Compare to the 3DS original.

It's just a lot easier to get caught by surprise due to the lack of vertical screen real estate.

Thank you, that helped my decision. I will eventually be getting a 3DS and I was wondering which version of this I should get. I didn't think of the two screens vs one. I'll wait to get it on the 3DS.
