Grow stronger turn, by turn.

Eador: Genesis, an impressive turn-based strategy with RPG elements, that sends you on a quest to conquer a shattered realm, is now available on GOG.com, for only $4.79! That's 20% off, this week only!

The world is no longer whole. All that remains are the islands of existence drifting aimlessly through the endless ocean of emptiness and oblivion. This broken realm houses many aspiring despots, hell-bent on uniting the floating shards of land under their own rule. There was, however, no single monarch who could achieve that feat since the time of the cataclysm. That won't stop you from trying, of course. Is it because you're even more hungry for power and wealth then your opponents? Or maybe you see a higher purpose in domination over Eador? Maybe you believe, that the world united under the rule of one strong leader will finally begin to heal? As one of the Masters, you're free to exercise your will however you see fit. But know this: history will judge you.

Eador: Genesis delivers a turn-based strategy experience inspired by the classics of the genre. It's a multi-layered game, equally stressing the importance of your kingdom's development and management, and your tactical battlefield abilities. There's also a strongly accented RPG element, that goes so well with the imaginatively crafted fantasy setting of the game. With over 170 structures to build, 80 magic spells to master, and 70 kinds of units to lead into the battle, each with its own goals and defining characteristic--this title will keep you busy for many long evenings.

Looking for a well-polished turn-based strategy game that's immersive, enthralling, and deep? Get Eador: Genesis, for only $4.79! That's 20% off until the promo ends on Tuesday, December 11, at 10:59AM GMT.

Dischord: I'm in one now where these pushy bastards keep showing up; guess I pissed them off :-)
"Wait, you liked that territory that made you 30 gold per turn? Oh yeah, umm... That's our holy land now. Deal with it."

No, pissed them off much sooner. Bastards showed up, demanding I give them people for trial; nope.

Assholes have been trying to appropriate my land ever since.

Ankelesh: A little announcement: Eador-Masters of a broken world wouldn't be a sequel or prequel. It will be the same Eador:Genesis, but in 3D. (Also, both games will have the same content, and when Masters of a broken world will have add-ons, Genesis will have them too.
P.S. My Engrish is bad, but I hope, you understand these announcement.
Ankelesh, do you know whether Snowbird will improve on the text events, for example adding in more paths and selections?
I have a question. Could I only play multiple shards on the campaign? How do I do it in single player? I played a tiny shard and its only that shard and it didn't have the astral. How do I get to the astral?

I had to take a risk and use my mac bootcamp without anti virus and it works like a dream on my mac bootcamp compared to how it runs on my alienware.

Not sure if you can.

I started in campaign mode, and have always been that way. It doesn't require additional players, and transitions nicely, after the tutorial part.

It'sintresting question. First will be copy of Eador-Genesis, but in the next patces and addons may be added more quests, ways and selections. More information you must find on our forum, there is more users, which knew all about this.I'm just only a fan of Eador.... Link: http://www.eador.com/B2/index.php

Wait, so it means that I could only play multiple shards on campaign and not on single player? but am I only limited to little and tiny shards of the campaign?

Nope you'll find bigger ones. Also, you'll be meeting new Masters as you progress, and from there you can engage in diplomacy with them.

That sounds reassuring. I am a bit annoyed since I noticed some lags on my alienware so I got my mac out of requirement and fired up this game on bootcamp and like I said it runs like a dream. My only problem is that I have to re do the tutorial and its pretty annoying. I only have some slingers and spearmen while I face hordes of foresters, swordsmen and Pikemen.
You can copy your save game folder over :P

Slingers and militia are pretty rubbish. Grab a Scout or Warrior and get him up to a decent level, using the smaller units as meat shields.

I never thought of that. Yeah I guess I could do it after I purchase an antivirus for my bootcamp. I am a bit disappointed that I could only do multiple shards in the campaign

But... what would be the point of doing multiple shards in single-player? Wouldn't that make it the same as campaign?

I thought campaign was more story oriented while singleplayer is like the campaign but more freedom?
