Run-n-gun like it's 1990s!

Duke Nukem 1+2, a bundle of two classic 1990s run-and-gun platformers that sparked into a flame of legend, is now available on GOG.com, for only $5.99.

We are not alone in the Universe. In fact, it's swarming with evil alien monsters. The only goal in their existence is to invade our planet, steal our stuff and eat us. Earth isn't doing so well either. Mad scientists hell-bent on world domination. Doomsday devices are a dime a dozen. So, if you were wondering why we're not living under the rule of a crazy scientist and his cybernetic army, or why haven't we been all eaten by aliens--you should know who to thank for all that. Duke Nukem. The bishop of badassery.

Released in the early 1990s, the Duke Nukem 1+2 games defined the standards for the run-and-gun platformer genre on the PC. But not only that. They did much more. They started the career of one of the gaming's most iconic heroes: Duke Nukem. Being great platformers on their own, full of creative level design, exceptional ideas, and tongue-in-cheek humor, they still provide bucketloads of prime entertainment. Before Duke Nukem went 3D, he totally rocked the 2D. Here's your chance to see it for yourself!

Find out why Duke's autobiography was titled "Why I'm so Great", get Duke Nukem 1+2 for only $5.99!
Duke who?

I kid, I kid...

gandalf.nho: Excellent release, and guess this represents the beginning of the arrival of the other very old 3D Realms/Apogee catalogue (the games before Duke Nukem 3D)

IIRC the DN3D expansions were put out by another company and thus may be harder for GOG to get a hold of. :(
Awesome!
Thank you GOG :)
Nice release! I only played the shareware of Duke 2 back in the day.
Great it finally shows up here. Definitely a must buy. 1 of the best platformers I ever played.
I was totally thinking about this game today and how I should play it :)

(Thinks SimCity 3000 Unlimited)
Let's Rock
Holly sweet moses!
Nice addition to gog but not for me.
I already bought Duke 1 and 2 separately from 3DRealms store 2 years ago, so i might buy this package later.

You should think about hot chicks so when a hot chick calls you you can honestly say "hey babe, I was thinking about you". Hot chicks dig that.

Aaaanyway: Nice release. Remember playing these two a lot when I was a kid. Giving them another try might actually give me some kind of nostalgic shock.

Edit: Reminds me: I must have my Game Boy Color lying around somewhere with Duke Nukem for that one. Was my favourite Game Boy game and in fact I preferred it over Duke 1 & 2 on PC... heresy, I know.

Were there any actual version differences? like bonus levels or something on the GBC version?

Mine was a fart sound until it occurred to me how inconvenient it is to receive a message on the bus then.
