Here's a game that will make you smile. It's plain to see that a lot of love and passion of its creators went into the process of making Driftmoon happen. This fantastic world was created with great attention to detail and no corners were cut when it came to producing the fable-like story. The creators' affection for their work is present in every dialog, every corner of the map and every little item in the game's world. Even though at times it's a little rough around the edges, this title presents everything that's good about indie role-playing development!

Driftmoon sports classic role-playing gameplay, complete with quests, battles, items, skills, and a party of adventurers. The charming 3D world is presented in fixed-angle top-down view, so it's always easy to keep track on of what's happening on the screen. The main scenario is full of adventure, secrets, dread, and enchantment. Even stories of pirate treasures take part in your quest! Once you finish the original campaign, there's a mod editor that will allow you to create your own fantastic land and experience other player's creations!

Step into the colorful, fantastic world of Driftmoon and let your inner-child experience a wonderful adventure, for only $11.99 on GOG.com. The promo lasts until Tuesday, March 5, at 10:59AM GMT.

lol no cleavage no sell
so far this game plays wonderfully... I really like all the secret items laying all around for me to find :)

but I'm confused by the gold fish - as a "secret finding" maniac I've put all my skill points so far into gold fish finding, I even saw the main character say "I sense a gold fish nearby" once, but I can't find it! that, my friends, is killing me...

They look like small golden coins that give out a mild gleaming effect.

They look like tiny goldfish to me, you know the goldfish cracker type. Very small though, quite easy to miss.

Sorry about that, I may have done a pretty good job hiding them. I take full blame. :P They'll be in different places on different play-throughs too, so you'll never have it quite easy finding them. But then again, if it was too easy, it wouldn't be so much fun when you actually find one!

You could also try changing the view to top-down for a little while if you want. Maybe the goldfish is just lurking behind a tree trunk! Oh, and make sure to pay attention to the goldfish icon in the upper left corner. If it appears, the goldfish is very close, and it gets bigger as you get closer to the thing. :)

Ps. There's special bonuses involved too when you've found a certain number of those little critters!

You guys are wonderful and this is just the beginning. Ive said it on your forums and ill say it on here, once your other games get made, they will do extremely well on here. Gog's sales are better than steam (thats right). I spoke with ville and he said that Notrium will do very well with some roleplaying aspects (traits) from driftmoon. Id even like to see your magebane game on here as I played that a while back. Keep up the good work!

Hey Anne, from what I've read around the GOG forums and your own, Ville has submitted a slightly updated version of the game (1.001). If I start playing the current build (1.00) will I be able to transfer my save when the updated version comes down the pipe?

Check your account :D. We just uploaded a patch that brings up your Driftmoon install to version 1.001.

Just noticed the update. For those of us who haven't installed the game yet, do we need to run the installer and then the patch, or is the installer already patched?
