The greatest darkness lies in the devious soul.

[url=http://www.gog.com/gamecard/dracula_trilogy]Dracula Trilogy is available FOR FREE for the next five days, with every purchase of Dracula 4: Shadow of the Dragon. It contains the first three games in the horror adventure series based upon Bram Stoker's creations: Dracula: The Resurrection, Dracula: The Last Sanctuary, and Dracula 3: The Path of the Dragon. Once the Dracula 4: Shadow of the Dragon launch promo ends on GOG.com on Sunday, July 14, at 9:59AM GMT, Dracula Trilogy will be available for the regular price of $9.99.

Dracula Trilogy continues the story told by Bram Stoker in his original novel. The first two games take place immediately after the events depicted in the book, focusing on Jonathan Harker's attempts to win back his wife Mina, who has fallen under the vampire's seductive curse. The third one takes us forward in time, as we follow a metaphysical investigation in Transylvania, soon after the first World War. With unnerving atmosphere, suggestive visuals, enthralling story, and many challenging puzzles, these adventure games bring us a perfect mix of horror and mystery.

You can get Dracula Trilogy for only $9.99 on GOG.com, but you can also receive it absolutely free with your purchase of Dracula 4: Shadow of the Dragon, the fourth thrilling installment of the series. This amazing offer will only last until Sunday, July 14, at 9:59AM GMT, so don't miss out!

ShadowWulfe: Don't trust the gaming media. If they don't get a big fat endorsement they slam whatever game it is they're reviewing (generally).
Also, they'll usually prevent you from enjoying things. Enjoying things is good.
You don't say! ;-)

You should even try to enjoy "enjoyment" of things...
I'm really curious about the "cutscenes cutting out" problem mentioned upthread. I bought Resurrection and [whatever #2 is] on disc, and I could not for the life of me get Resurrection to work consistently -- I had the cutscene problem. I changed a lot of settings and it would work once, then fail whenever I opened the game again. I'm on a Win7 machine.

Anyone know more?
How Ironic. I just re installed Dracula: The Last Sanctuary a few weeks ago. All the while lamenting the fact that I never played the first one and that these games were too widely panned by the critics to ever be popular enough for GOG. This is one of the few times I am glad to have been wrong.

tinyE: I actually have something in common with the original book "Dracula" but it's neither funny nor interesting so I'll shut up about it.
Did the communist government of Romania give you a life time ban from the country too?

Okay, three things.
Nice. Just a quick question, can you download each game separately?

HypersomniacLive: Any particular reason there's no Win XP compatability?
I asked support about this and got this answer:

"The game crashes on ATI graphic cards on Windows XP and we weren't able to fix this. If you have some different graphic card it may work, but we are unable to officially support it because of that."

Moonbeam: Nice. Just a quick question, can you download each game separately?
No, there is a single installer for the trilogy.

Thanks hucklebarry.
Nice release, added to wishlist.

Ah, what a shame.

Ah, what a shame also. I can't remember how the DVD installation worked, but it'd have been nice if there were separate installers for the digital download.

FYI, I haven't launched the installer yet, just downloaded it. So not sure if you get an option or not once you start the installer. I'll be playing these once I get my headphones working.

Ok then. I somehow feel it won't as it would defeat the point of the single installer file.

Still, it'll be nice if there's an option to selectively install the games, so please let us know.
Or a blue could shed some light, if he/ she reads this.
I can't get the trilogy to work...
I'm using Win7 64-bit on a dual core. I DO have an ATI Mobility Radeon, though...
Is that the problem then? And is there a fix for this?
