The legacy of blood is yours to witness.

Dracula 4 + 5, that is Shadow of the Dragon and newly released The Blood Legacy, a contemporary tale of mystery and terror delivered in the form of an intriguing and immersive point-and-click adventure game, is available 75% off on GOG.com. That's only $4.99 for the first three days! If you already own Dracula 4: Shadow of the Dragon on GOG.com, you receive the fifth game as a free update!

In the ominous reaches of the Carpathian mountains a ruthless voivod ruled from the height of his throne red with blood of his enemies. Whoever met him in battle would call him a demon, or a devil. His subjects had a different name for him, though, in their tongue. They called him Dracul, the Dragon. The legend has it, that this fierce warrior renounced God and become cursed to roam the Earth forever, restless, hungry for innocent blood, and doomed never to see the light of day again. But the curse came with power growing with every century of roaming the darkness. Thus, Dracul became the embodiment of evil and darkness itself, the one that fills our hearts with fear whenever the light goes out. The Vampire, the immortal enemy of man, that hunts in the night up to this day. So the legend says. There is at least a grain of truth to every legend.

Dracula 4 + 5 takes the vampiric lore into the modern setting. We follow Ellen Cross, a young art restorer, on her journey across Europe. In her way she's confronted with mysterious and terrifying events that will make her question everything us humans assume to know about the world. Secret societies, dark rituals, and powerful demons stand in her path. Finally, Ellen discovers new information about the Shadow of the Dragon--the mysterious brotherhood that the infamous Vlad Tepes might have been affiliated with. Thus begins the endgame of the centuries-long struggle between the light and dark. Will you dare to follow Ellen's blood-chilling story?

Immerse yourself in the twisted, dark, and dangerous world of the vampire mythos and challenge the Dark Lord of Carpathia himself! Get Dracula 4 + 5 for only $4.99 before Sunday, April 27, at 1:59PM GMT.
Thank you for this addition of Dracula 5! Was very pleasantly surprised to see this added since I think I had gotten the original Dracula trilogy as a bonus or at least for a good sale price when I purchased Dracula 4.
Just curious, how is added the game into the library, bundled or unbundled?

Ophelium: Seems like a good time to go for this. Definitely picking this up after seeing what's on sale tomorrow.

justanoldgamer: What's on sale tomorrow and where did you see it?

Also bought and downloaded.
I meant I'll buy it after the sale comes up tomorrow and I see if I want anything else :P

GOG.com:
Any official word on this?
Thanks.

I'm not exactly knowledgeable on bundles, but both games are individual entries in your shelf, if that's you wanted to know.

Hope this helped. :P

new entry, but they did a little mess :

actually it's like this :

Dracula 4: Shadow of the Dragon (game)
Dracula 5: The Blood Legacy (game)

- Dracula 4 downloader directory name got changed ....
- (name) at the end of both games is useless
- no more link to the gamecard in the shelves : because there's only one gamecard for both games ...that wasn't the best solution ihmo.

looks a rushed work to me.

Same here, been away from the forums and site for a few weeks and did not know anything about a new game coming out. Read about it a few minutes ago so I went to check to see if I had Dracula 5 added, only to realise I hadn't redeemed Dracula 4 yet.

I tried to redeem it and it is not working :(

Trilarion: Anuman has a bit of a track record for delivering low quality adventure shovelware. Is this game different?
avatar
HypersomniacLive: A bit late, but I wouldn't exactly call this collection "low quality shovelware".

Granted, the latest Dracula games are not on par with the Dracula Trilogy, but I don't think Anuman Interactive deserves that description.

Would you be so kind to provide some example-games to support your comment, please?
I was thinking more about their list of games published on GamersGate (174 games in total so far) : http://www.gamersgate.com/games?filter=publisher:1651&prio=latest&state=available

Among them and of course this is only my opinion are quite a large number of low quality adventures. To name a few: Dream Chamber, Nicolas Eymerich, Tony Tough, Pompei, Necronomicon, Loussiana Adventure, Red Johnson's Chronicles, Aztec, CIA Petrodollars, Jack the Ripper, The Princess Case, Egypt 1156 BC, Hollywood, ...

But I forgot that they also have quite some good games in their catalogue and these games have made it into GOG. I even own three of them (didn't know they were from Anuman). Insofar this might have been the wrong place here. I guess GOG is pre-filtering Anuman for quality.
Apparently 4 + 5 is 45. :P

Sometimes i swear they have a newbie or intern working there at times... :P

adambiser: Thanks for the free update / new game!

As a side effect, did this update invalidate the codes from Indie Gala Capsule Computers Bundle that were supposed to expire on Feb 14, 2015?
avatar
XenSavage: yep, just tried mine, it's invalid now. Oh well
ALWAYS, Always, always redeem GOG keys from bundles straight away.
I have done ever this since I learned that they have expiration dates, and had a very close shave by a matter of hours.

Talk to GOG support, they should be able to help.

They must have changed it. They are two separate title cards on your shelf. Someone pointed this out earlier.

First off, you should narrow it down to display only adventure games, though it's known that Gamersgate filters don't work that well, i.e. a good number of casual, not-actual adventure games, like HOGs with adventure/ puzzle elements, are included.

GOG does not carry these type of pseudo-adventure games and that's good; at the same time, I'd like to see some of the other Anuman Interactive adventures here.

But even on Gamersgate, Anuman Interactive has a good number of adventure games that grade from decent to very good and they sure don't fall under "low quality shovelware". Of course tastes are subjective, but labelling everything one doesn't like as shovelware is going too far.

But now you got me curious - have you played the games you describe as "low quality adventures"? If yes, what is it about them that makes you classify them as such? If not, how did you decide that they're not good?
Still haven't played 4, but with the extra pressure of suddenly owning 5 as well I guess I must soon!

Did i say the contrary ? : i cut & pasted the exact names from my games shelves ...

there are 2 entries in the shelves but only one gamecard (that's not an issue)

https://secure.gog.com/game/dracula_4_5

with no link to the gamecard through the gameshelves
