The legacy of blood is yours to witness.

Dracula 4 + 5, that is Shadow of the Dragon and newly released The Blood Legacy, a contemporary tale of mystery and terror delivered in the form of an intriguing and immersive point-and-click adventure game, is available 75% off on GOG.com. That's only $4.99 for the first three days! If you already own Dracula 4: Shadow of the Dragon on GOG.com, you receive the fifth game as a free update!

In the ominous reaches of the Carpathian mountains a ruthless voivod ruled from the height of his throne red with blood of his enemies. Whoever met him in battle would call him a demon, or a devil. His subjects had a different name for him, though, in their tongue. They called him Dracul, the Dragon. The legend has it, that this fierce warrior renounced God and become cursed to roam the Earth forever, restless, hungry for innocent blood, and doomed never to see the light of day again. But the curse came with power growing with every century of roaming the darkness. Thus, Dracul became the embodiment of evil and darkness itself, the one that fills our hearts with fear whenever the light goes out. The Vampire, the immortal enemy of man, that hunts in the night up to this day. So the legend says. There is at least a grain of truth to every legend.

Dracula 4 + 5 takes the vampiric lore into the modern setting. We follow Ellen Cross, a young art restorer, on her journey across Europe. In her way she's confronted with mysterious and terrifying events that will make her question everything us humans assume to know about the world. Secret societies, dark rituals, and powerful demons stand in her path. Finally, Ellen discovers new information about the Shadow of the Dragon--the mysterious brotherhood that the infamous Vlad Tepes might have been affiliated with. Thus begins the endgame of the centuries-long struggle between the light and dark. Will you dare to follow Ellen's blood-chilling story?

Immerse yourself in the twisted, dark, and dangerous world of the vampire mythos and challenge the Dark Lord of Carpathia himself! Get Dracula 4 + 5 for only $4.99 before Sunday, April 27, at 1:59PM GMT.

HypersomniacLive: That's awfully nice and in strong contrast to what Daedalic did just a couple of days ago with the Edna & Harvey games.

Novotnus: What did they do?
They separated the games and overpriced them-see here

Oops, ninja'd somewhat ! (Although Grargar didn't link to the announcement) :-)

Novotnus: Wait, wait, wait... a present? For me? Well thank you!

What did they do?

Grargar: They separated the bundle into two games and jacked up the total price by $15.
The Breakout.
Harvey's New Eyes.
So that is why they are listed among my most recently purchased games even though I got them in 2012.
Wow, what a wonderful surprise to find on my shelf! Thank you GOG, Microids, and Anuman, thank you very much!
Thanks Anuman, Microids, GOG. You guys are all right.
Wasn't this already here ? :/

Deadalic seems to be following Telltale to the dark side...
I'll remember this before buying anything more from them... that means, generous discounts or no purchase.

Dracula 4, yes, Dracula 5, no.

adambiser: Thanks for the free update / new game!

As a side effect, did this update invalidate the codes from Indie Gala Capsule Computers Bundle that were supposed to expire on Feb 14, 2015?

XenSavage: yep, just tried mine, it's invalid now. Oh well
"Oh well" is not the correct response to having a product stolen from you.

heh, that was "oh well, i'll have to ping Support for this one", i've created a ticket to clarify what will happen with such keys. But yeah, generally you're right (although i don't consider it as stolen, i'm pretty sure GOG guys just haven't though about it. I know i probably wouldnt't:))

Thanks to all involved parties! ;-)
My thoughts exactly! I was disappointed about Edna & Harvey too.

I've heard that Dracula 4 is terribly short and as consequence - overpriced. But adding a new game for free is a very generous sign of a goodwill. I always respect people who try to correct their mistakes and - in cases like this - I'm trying to support them as much as I can (see attachment - previously I planned to wait for a sale to get it)

Thanks for the free game! Had Dracula 5 added because I already had Dracula 4 from a bundle. Great job, GOG! <3

Daedalic complain that they don't sell as well as they'd want to, but then go and do things that'll ensure that sales won't improve. They blamed their retail publisher for making the German language an exclusive to a more expensive version, but then went and did the exact same thing when they self-published.
It's quite astonishing how they fail to interpret where the problem may lie and how to rectify it, especially as they're no newcomers to the game. I'm disappointed enough by what they think is good business to not bother about them and their games, unless I see some pretty swell signs that they've come to their senses.

I already own the Dracula Trilogy, plus finances are not looking good for quite a while now so it's not a priority for me, but well done with demonstrating your support.

Hmm, you may be on to something here... ;-P

EDIT: Added a further comment to Ghorpm, as I stupidly hit "post" premature.

Oh...
Very nice! Sort of the opposite move from what Daedalic did with the Harvey games (well not exactly, they didn't actually the games from users accounts but you know what I mean).

Ophelium: Seems like a good time to go for this. Definitely picking this up after seeing what's on sale tomorrow.
What's on sale tomorrow and where did you see it?

Also bought and downloaded.
