its not the case anymore, this game has a proper ending because it includes "Flames of Vengeance" expansion.
Got this yesterday with the other two as I didn't have them already. I guess it will be a while before I play it though if I make my way through the first two. (If that's required?)
Great game witrh fantastic music. Solid rpg and a good deal of humour in it.
You can start with Divinity 2, if you wish. There are books that give some of the history and dialog that describes what you need to know (which is just the basics). If you play DD and BD (more so the former) you'll recognize some names and characters in Divinity 2, but the locations that are in DD and D2:DC have changed quite a bit in the time between the games. You'll want to play DD and BD in order, though, whether it is before or after Divinity 2.

Licurg: And still no Carmageddon 2...
I'm guessing we won't see it for a while, given that the first one was released not too long ago (and is going strong).

Thanks Raze. Will check how it performs on my comp if okay I'll play it first, other will do DD and wait for my comp upgrade next year.

Well it's still the case because the expansion is very much a different game - no more tower for starters and the focus is far more on a local experience.
I wonder if anti-aliasing is working on GOG's version, when selected from the game's options menu. It never did with my hard copy of Dragon Knight Saga...

Fantastic!
I hope the release of Divinity II here means GOG will release Divinity: Dragon Commander and Divinity: Original Sin also and together with the rest of the world
Divinity 2 DKS was an amazing game and I would instabuy if I didn't already own it.

Just opened the game to test it, and AA does appear to be working. At the very least it's about 100 times less jaggy than the demo I tried last week.

Exactly what I wanted to know... thanks Raze ;)

RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZE! Did the anthology ship yet?

(I'm not in a hurry to get it, this doesn't actually have to do with Larian and Divinity, I just need to know asap what might be in an unidentified package. Sorry to bother you, and thank you for being so helpful on the forums.)

You can still use the dragon stone to go back and forth to the battle tower in FoV, but the teleporter there will not work, so you can not leave except to go back to Aleroth.

During development there was initially going to be a Broken Valley type area in the add-on, but fully developing it would have added the better part of a year to the release date. Larian figured the game as a whole needed more of a hub of human activity than another dragon area, so that was what they concentrated on.

It's not a bother. For the Vault orders of the retail version of the anthology, some were shipped out today and the rest should go out tomorrow (see Larian's Facebook page), with an estimated shipping time of 4-10 days.
