Finally, a zombie game that depends on your brainzzzz.

Dead State, a zombie survival RPG with tactical turn-based combat, non-linear gameplay, and many locations to explore across undead-ridden Texas, is now available DRM-free on GOG.com.

Dead State is a survival RPG with non-linear exploration of more than 100 unique locations, 50,000+ lines of branching dialogue with a host of rich, complex characters. It's set in central Texas at the collapse of civilization: as society crumbles, the player must defend their shelter from threats while keeping themselves and their allies fed, equipped, and content. Inspired by classic strategy RPGs like Fallout, X-COM, and Suikoden, Dead State emphasizes clever turn-based combat, complex character interactions, and base building against a background of humans fighting tooth and nail to survive in the face of horror and despair.

Want to see Dead State in action? Join Rurikhan, as he takes on the undead enemy this Sunday, 7PM GMT (11AM PST / 2PM EST), on Twitch.tv/GOGcom. Remember to follow our channel, so you don't miss our future broadcasts!

Wishlisted. Hope to see Deadlight here also. Any chance for a strategy release this month?

Complain? I don't see why these developers make such a big deal about Steam vs. GOG versions. It's not like they're losing money from you for choosing to use X over X.

Also, this game looks great, for some reason the aesthetic almost reminds me of Soldiers of Anarchy (game that needs to come to GOG). The pricetag... puts it a bit out of range for the moment unfortunately.
Oh wow, i almost missed it with the sales going on, really nice that it was released here, going for my wishlist. This is such an amazing year for PC players, Divinity Original Sin, Wasteland 2, Legend of Grimrock 2, Endless Legend, Dead State, etc... Terrible year for wallets though....

Forgotten about this game.

Wishlisted for now, shame about the bad timing with the sale on
Solid 500+ votes completed is nice as is getting the Frictional games back. Certainly disappointed we didn't get any new LucasArts games, and apparently we won't get any until next year, and these big sales are still "meh" to me, but it's a reminder to worry about my own stuff and not what GOG does. ;-)

I wish I could buy it here and get a Steam Key added (love GOG, but tend to play more games on Steam)... Don't want to pay for it twice though.. (at least not at full price)

Oh, shit. No Lucasart games this year then. Turns around and runs in to the corner to cry.

Hey, almost a non regionally priced game, nice. :P

Seen the trailer, could be interesting. But I'll wait reviews and a discount. :)
Another one for the list .

A bit different though. Straight up buying from one store is unfortunately not the same as buying from another. I feel the way Kickstarter backers are treated with regards to the keys is a bit unfair though. I mean for crying out loud they helped to make the game happen.
This seems nice, wishlisted
Waiting for my backer key ...
Wishlisted.

Crosmando: This game annoys me because it's yet another zombie game that only has human zombies! When is someone going to give us zombie dogs, crows, spiders and other abominations like Resident Evil 2 did?

Looks good though.
Resident Evil Outbreak File 2 has a fuckin Zombie Elephant:

And Zombie Hyenas and Lions.
I was a backer, but had no idea that this was coming out today; I think my email account must be shunting Kickstarter emails into my spam folder.

Anyway, I wish I wasn't so incredibly busy right now, but hopefully I'll find the time to try this out.
