Third one's the curse!

Dark Fall 3: Lost Souls, the third installment in the series of captivating metaphysical thriller games, is available 50% off on GOG.com. That's only $4.99 for the first 48 hours.

Dark Fall 3: Lost Souls begins in Dowerton, a once picturesque rural village, hidden away in the English countryside. Like many villages, it has been tainted by modernity and economic failure; sallow youths hide in the shadows, losing their minds to chemical slime, while others simply disappear into the woods, never to be seen again. The elders of the village hide indoors, all too aware of the darkness that lurks outside. You must watch your step, and never turn your back on the darkness… Something evil, unknowable and hungry is hiding in the darkness of these old buildings. It wants your soul; to feed upon, devour and torture. Can you make the ghosts your ally so you can battle against the darkness that lurks in that long forgotten, abandoned Hotel?

You might think you're ready to re-visit the dark universum of the Dark Fall series, but the reality is--you're not prepared for what's coming your way in Dark Fall 3: Lost Souls, for only $4.99 on GOG.com. The 50% off special release discount offer lasts until Friday, February 15, at 10:59AM GMT.

JinseiNGC224: And GOG itself was just sticking to their NDA policies about what goes on behind the scenes.

I'm just happy to see it here! And it was an instabuy ;)

Actually this was the first week in a long time where I actually scored every game released (the Red Factions, Kentucky Route Zero, Downfall, and Dark Fall 3!). Good week indeed!
So the blues leave us in the blue?

You're right, the last two weeks have seen quite a good streak of releases. Kentucky Route Zero looks awesome, but considering the state of my waller, I'll stick to STALKER and Dark Fall 3. Yummy!

Wesker: Would a blue care to elaborate upon this?

And we're going to continue to do so :)

I'm fine with that! But thanks for making an agreement for Dark Fall 3. The rights holders seemed very dissapointed at first with GOG, though that attitude changed and here it is!

Keep up the good work!

Now, if Jonathan Boakes is happy with GOG and brings more games here, I really hope Lost Crown will appear here soon!

On the 30th August, he wrote: " If you havem't tried GOG, I can highly recommend it." I guess we'll see more of his work here. :)

tfishell: Oh yes. Although I can't help but think a remake wouldn't be as well-received as the original.
Why so pessimistic? Nothing really to break here, is it? I mean hi-res resolution for maps/sprites and that's it..Unless they want to experiment, of course. Anyway - if they were smart they would include vanilla 1996 version as a bonus to the remake...

It just dawn upon me that when I think of Z (and other classics) I would accept higher price for original version than for HD remake...I must be mental or just too long on GOG :-P
Have it already on steam. No option but to buy it here again all safe and DRM free.

Today is Saturday February 15. Why is Dark Fall 3 now $9.99?

You are not alone.
I did open a support ticket about this. Hopefully we will hear something after this weekend.
I'm glad I already own this on Steam - otherwise I'd be rather annoyed at seeing the full price on the store page, despite the release promo $4.99 offer that last until February 20th prematurely expired. Although rounding out the series on GOG, drm-free, might be considered for 50% off....

Hi! I've sent you guys private messages in hope of sorting out this little error. We did mix up the promo time which was supposed to be 48 hours only. Sorry!
