Third one's the curse!

Dark Fall 3: Lost Souls, the third installment in the series of captivating metaphysical thriller games, is available 50% off on GOG.com. That's only $4.99 for the first 48 hours.

Dark Fall 3: Lost Souls begins in Dowerton, a once picturesque rural village, hidden away in the English countryside. Like many villages, it has been tainted by modernity and economic failure; sallow youths hide in the shadows, losing their minds to chemical slime, while others simply disappear into the woods, never to be seen again. The elders of the village hide indoors, all too aware of the darkness that lurks outside. You must watch your step, and never turn your back on the darkness… Something evil, unknowable and hungry is hiding in the darkness of these old buildings. It wants your soul; to feed upon, devour and torture. Can you make the ghosts your ally so you can battle against the darkness that lurks in that long forgotten, abandoned Hotel?

You might think you're ready to re-visit the dark universum of the Dark Fall series, but the reality is--you're not prepared for what's coming your way in Dark Fall 3: Lost Souls, for only $4.99 on GOG.com. The 50% off special release discount offer lasts until Friday, February 15, at 10:59AM GMT.

Is available.
It's nice and all :) but not as snappy as GOG.com :)
It would be cool to see Jonathan Boakes' 'The Lost Crown on GOG'. He's also working on a follow-up called 'The Last Crown' which should be coming later this year.
It seems like I've been waiting for this game to appear on GOG forever. Finally, it is here, and at a price that makes it an insta-buy.

While I'm glad that I held out for so long and refused to buy it on Steam, I wish there was some way to know which games are coming to GOG.com. I understand that agreements which are "in the works" can't be shared with us, but it's always a difficult choice deciding whether or not to buy a game during a Steam sale or let it pass by and hope it shows up on GOG.

Good work, GOG! We're getting some nice releases.
Awesome news! I already have the first two on disk, but not the third, so definitely getting this one!

Glad we got Red Faction games this week, although I do feel a bit bad for tburger (and the wishlist) for not getting "Z" today.
Always happy to see more horror games, especially from Boakes. Unfortunately, I have to say this one left me cold when I played it a few years back. The previous games had a very distinct atmosphere that (almost) no other games deliver, while this one traded that in for a much more in-your-face Silent Hill aesthetic. It's not a bad game, but fans of the series should know that this one feels very different from the others - less of a "dust and creaky floorboards" affair and more of a "broken dolls and bloody scissors" situation.

Don't be. Concerning the respond from BB found in comments section of
http://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/z_1
I think sooner or later they will publish a PC remake of it and, eventually, it lands on gog.

KISSMAD's comment? I didn't even realize there were 45 PC digital download stores online!
Finally GOG releasing some great games.....not more indie crap.

No, josthereal's...

I got a respond from Bitmap-brothers.co.uk
My question was when will there be a Z for windows 8/7.

answer:
"We hope to have it out early next year"
(...)
The made PC remake of Speedball and Chaos Engine. Remake of Z is next logic step

JinseiNGC224: I remember inquiring to the rights holders about this game after the first two were added back to the catalog last year. At first they seemed very pessimistic about it ever coming here and that GOG didn't want it. I then sent a message stating my discontent with that unfortunate decision but that I hoped for the best in the future. Their next response was then "Never mind, I guess they'll take it after all"...
Would a blue care to elaborate upon this?

Oh yes. Although I can't help but think a remake wouldn't be as well-received as the original.

I had contacted GOG at the same time in light of hearing it was denied. All they said was they can't elaborate on why they would deny any game, let alone Dark Fall 3. But in any case the developer reassured me that he was wrong an that it would, eventually, be accepted to the catalog. And GOG itself was just sticking to their NDA policies about what goes on behind the scenes.

I'm just happy to see it here! And it was an instabuy ;)

Actually this was the first week in a long time where I actually scored every game released (the Red Factions, Kentucky Route Zero, Downfall, and Dark Fall 3!). Good week indeed!
