So glad to finally see this game come to GOG. It's a fantastic bullet hell shooter, and easily the best shmup I've played on PC. It's also improved dramatically since the vanilla Crimzon Clover release, in case anyone played that one and was underwhelmed.

Odd, GOG lists the release date as November 1, 2005.

Steam lists it as June 6, 2014.

Wikipedia says January 11, 2011 for a Japanese Windows release, April 25, 2013 for a Japanese Arcade release, and June 6, 2014 for a Worldwide Windows release.

Underwhelmed?!!

How is that even possible?!!

Edit: In case anyone wants a demo, here's a link to the pre-release demo for vanilla Crimzon Clover:

This demo pre-dated the Double Break Mode mechanic.

And in Japanese Wikipedia it's listed in the category "2010年のコンピュータゲーム" (2010-nen no kompyuuta geemu, computer games of 2010)...

So we've got 4 choices for a legitimate release date, and none of them are in 2005... Do any other languages have different release date options? ;)

I think GOG just screwed up and mixed the release date of the game with that of another.

Thanks for that :) Fixed the date for the worldwide release. Not sure why that November date was there, though :)

Thanks for supporting Crimzon Clover, everyone! It's a really big deal to us.

Regarding the panel borders, there is a point to them. This game was originally ported from the arcades, and arcade monitors have a different aspect ratio than the monitors you are used to using at home. The panels are there to preserve the original aspect ratio of the game and keep the shot patterns and gameplay as close to "arcade perfect" as possible.

If your monitor can rotate to a vertical orientation, this game does support "tate" display that will increase the size of the game window and make it appear very similar to the way it would display in an arcade.

I've attached an example picture of tate display in action.

Aw...I literally just bought this on Steam the other day.
Oh well, I'll pick this up again cause why not? I'm a fan of this genre anyway.

Great! Will definitely have to get this. Always good to see a developer here on the forums.
I'm very happy about this release, since I've heard good things about Crimzon Clover. That said, I'm already fairly inept when it comes to regular shmups; I can't imagine how poorly I will do trying to play a bullet hell shmup.

Wishlisted for now.
