It's only forever, not long at all.

Chronology, a charming, colorful, storybook-like puzzle platformer inspired by the Studio Ghibli classic animations and featuring many great puzzles and time-bending mechanics, is available 25% off on GOG.com. That's only $7.49 for the first week.

Chronology is a mind-bending mix of puzzle, adventure and platform game where you defy time by manipulating the past and the future, in order to fix the present. Play as the Old Inventor and his sidekick The Snail, and take advantage of their special abilities - travel back and forth in time, stop time, manipulate objects and solve puzzles. The game aims to portray characters with heart and soul. You can switch between two lovable heroes with different abilities and combine their strengths. There's a mind-bending story line to discover. As the tale unfolds, learn how the main character has already played a central role in shaping the future of his world. The game is available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Russian, and it comes with a full high-quality MP3 soundtrack.

Make your inner child a present and take it out on an adventure in the heart-touchingly beautiful universe of Chronology, for only $7.49 on GOG.com. The 25% release discount lasts until Thursday, May 29, at 9:59AM GMT.
Quite a charming looking newcomer! I've not heard of this one before, but my interest is definitely piqued. I will see how the reviews look here, as games with time-control mechanism vary wildly in their implementation. (That being said, I must be one of the only people who loved the Xbox game Blinx The Time Sweeper.)

The Studio Ghibli influence is well done too. Reminds me of Spirited Away particularly. Great film.

G-Doc: It's more about the choice of fascinatingly disgusting VS undeniably charming ;-)
Which one is which though?

This looks so sweet (though not my usual cup of tea), the Old Inventor looks simply adorable!

Though I've not heard of it before and have to research it a bit, plus points to the devs for being fans of Hayao Miyazaki!

With so many platformers released its time to rename GOG to GOP or SIP (s****y indie platformers). Sorry, but games like that are DEFINITELY NOT the reason to be on GOG. Always feel like they steal place of some good game when they are released :(

yeah I'll never understand why people like indie platformes like this one, it would definately bore me to death and I would feel like wasting my money for uprgaded flash games with a lack of innovation and a decent interface, but on the other hand *with* meaningless multicolored comic graphics ...
I would be very glad if GOG released more good old games instead of permanently flooding the site with new indie games, I mean you get enough of those on other sites, but GOG is one of the few sites you will visit when your looking for old games which are made running on newer systems.
if I had my own pc I would return back from xp to windows 95 so some problems would be solved anyway...

Telika: So fezzes have become standard time-travelling safety equipment ?
HEY! Fezzes are cool...but Jelly Babies are better. ;)

This game looks spiffy though, wishlisted till I can afford it (and Bad Mojo) in the future (see what I did there? ^_^). Great job GOG, this looks like a wonderful game.

Good release.
For anyone still on the fence about this one: I just started playing it for the first time and I have to say it's very polished and charming, and I really enjoy it. My only concern is that it seems to be rather short. I'm not done with it yet, but so far my guess is that it's not much longer than about 2-3 hours of play time. ( If anyone has already finished it, feel free to correct me on this one. )

My recommendation: If you have the spare change and like puzzle platformers, then you can't really go wrong with this. Otherwise, I think it's fair to wait for a higher discount somewhere down the road. ( But again, based on what I've seen so far I don't regret my purchase. )
wow, great concept and lovey art.
Don't know when it happened, but it seems the price permanently dropped to $4.99.

Seems to have dropped its price on other stores too.
