it seems there's quite a few of us here who are big fans.
I recently discovered that there were a few episodes released only to mobile phones.
http://uk.playphone.com/search?searchQuery=dwarf&searchType=all
I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to watch these videos without having a phone capable of video (to watch on ones computer)
Otherwise, General Red Dwarf Discussion and Nerdgasms can go here. ;)
I've never really been into RD. I've only seen a few episodes, and while they were funny, I just didn't feel the need to watch it regularly. Is it one of those shows that you had to get into at the beginning just to get it?
They look like clips from the series and early specials.
The DVD set covers just about everything, but there is always Youtube.
Also Robert Llewllyn's Youtube Page
What do I want: For them to hurry up with the final season/special episodes promised since the movie fell through! :) Back in the Red, one final time.

I first came across the series on Public Broadcasting System, it came on right after Chef (another fantastic BBC show), Perhaps it was because I was also into DS9, or maybe it was because I just saw the right episodes. Many of the episodes deal with time as well as space travel, grandfather complexes, religion, and many more serious topics, but under humor.. It's always nice to laugh at serious things..
and thanks Ois! I subscribed. I wouldn't know if the mobisodes are on the dvd set, I am unforunate enough to not have the means to purchase it at this time (plus I prefer digital distribution, yay netflix). But I did subscribe to Rob's Llewtube.

well the most obscure non-standard footage from the Australian DVD releases of the small rouge one is the can't cook, won't cook special they did in character, that was pretty cool, you'll never guess what lister cooked... Not sure if it's on legal video sites but I'm sure if you were to put Can't Smeg, Won't Smeg into a search engine something would turn up

Purely as a security thing, you have to know what illegal stuff is out there in order to stop it...

I don't think it was specifically the Australian release. It's on the UK release too, I believe. I also think one of the seasons include the Universe Challenge as an extra. This was a special edition of University Challenge, where the Red Dwarf cast competed against a team of Red Dwarf fans in Red Dwarf trivia.
I had never heard of it until this thread. hmm...

I'd highly recommend it. The first two seasons are good, but from series 3 onwards, it simply rocks! :-D

I don't remember anything about that, but he is also the god of the Cat race, remember? Cloister the Stupid? Or Clister the Stupid, according to the other faction of cats.
