Hi, everybody, I'd just like to show you a cool piece of software that I recently found called Screenjelly (www.screenjelly.com) It's essentially an online screen capture utility that uses little to no system resources while it operates and requires no install.
The same company also makes a product called Screentoaster (www.screentoaster.com) that allows the user to record and then download their video as a .flv or .mov file.
Check them out!
Can you get good framerates with it?
My choice of screen-recording product is FRAPS and WeGame.

I haven't done it for ages but at the time my ideal solution was a video card with TV out and another PC with a capture card
Another advertising plant?
If so, at least the connection to chinese wow gold farmers is slightly less obvious

Excellent point, I hadn't noticed that
I'm using ZDsoft trail edition and it works great. I record my video's a 640:480 at quality of 83. Keeps the file sizes down.
Hi guys,
I'm also looking for something to record with. I had Playclaw from the giveaway a day site which was good as it made use of multiple processors. I don't believe that Fraps does.
I wish to try some Let's Play videos of various games and would like a decent (preferably free :p) screen-capture programs that will allow me to use a microphone at the same time.
Any ideas?
Karl

Maybe we need to come up with a Turing test that is specifically tuned to sniffing out spambots...
Or we just give them a potted plant avatar, with the "Advertising Plant" title.
Oh please com'on, what a nonsense... install the damn Fraps and leave the damn "cloud" buzz alone....

I don't know about other people, but Fraps really slows my computer down when I'm recording, or even when I'm checking frame rates. So I usually use Xfire, WeGame, or some other stuff. And when I use Fraps for benchmarking, I've learnt to tack on five or so FPS to the resulting number.
