Thanks a lot! Providing all the links makes it a lot easier for me to add new suggestions. :)

So far, I've only listed the developer's website if it provides the option to directly buy the game there. Just in case you wonder why I didn't list the one of Anomaly: Warzone Earth. Of course that decision is up for debate, but I thought it would make it easier to compare offers and conditions when you can determine at once whether a game can be bought directly from the developer or not.
You might want to add:

Rochard
Recoil Games
Action / Platformer
Steam: http://store.steampowered.com/app/107800/ (Only available here, as far as I know)

Just came out, very good fun.
I'm not sure if anyone is interested in this, but it's a little casual PRG game I'm currently working on:
Main site: http://www.fascimania.com/
Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Kilgazar/214098671950175
Not available yet nor for a while still, but I hope to put it on Steam, Desura, Android Market, etc.

If you feel like listing it, thanks. Otherwise, just ignore me. :)

If you feel confident that it's going to be commercial and that it will be enjoyed by fellow GOG members, why not. I'll let the community be the judge of it. Added, as long as noone objects.

That depends on what you mean by "commercial". If you just mean "will be for sale", yes, but it won't cost very much. If you mean "commercially successful", well, I really doubt that. :)

That's fine, I only try to keep this list and the freeware thread apart, so if it's going to be for sale (even in case you only sell it via your own website), it's "commercial" in my book. :)
It doesn't really seem honest to me to say that some of these games are available "only on Steam". I know GOG is a PC-only platform (in theory), but many of us also own consoles. It's not like both platforms don't take a sizeable cut (if that was your leaning). I mean if this was a "Games list that could become available on GOG" I could understand, but it's a "where to buy them" and so neglecting them seems unfairly biased.

Edit: Well now that we know your position, it's time some of us pointed out which games are available on console.

Well, yes. If you'd like to put it that way, I am biased, because I don't own a modern console and I have no idea how digital distribution on these consoles works and if it would make sense to put links to console shops here. So I settled for a "PC only" list. Initially, I thought about only including links for direct purchase from the developers but then I added the links to Steam etc. for comparison and because some developers don't sell directly. I don't even claim the list is exhaustive, it's very probable that I didn't even list all distributors on the PC platform. It takes a lot of time to search for and then copy/paste all those links and I can't do it all on my own.

So either you guys provide me with the necessary infos and links regarding consoles or you just take the list for what it is. If it helps, I can put a disclaimer about "PC only" in the OP and replace all "available only on" with "available on" in order to avoid any misunderstandings about an alleged completeness of the list.

(To clarify, what I meant to express by "only available on ..." was "(sadly) you can't get it directly from the developer". I didn't even think about consoles; not that I've got anything against them, I'm just ignorant in that regard because my personal interest lies with the PC.)

Add AI War: Fleet Command to the list. It's an RTS, could probably fit under strategy.

Fair enough, as long as you're open to suggestion I take no offense and I will readily change my viewpoint to 'incomplete'.

To start you off The Baconning is available both on Xbox 360 and . Since you can't pay from Playstation.com, you can seek out [url=http://us.playstation.com/games-and-media/games/the-baconing-ps3.html]Amazon if you live in the IS.

I played a match of this at PAX, this game is going to be awesome!

EDIT: I'd suggest Tower Defense games as a category as well, there's a lot of these (and some modified ones, like Anomaly: Warzone Earth) and they have become their own little subgenre.

Please remove Orcs Must Die and do not promote genocide. That's how orcs say hello and that bastard is murdering them all while they're expecting to be offered tea.

Found it through Desktop Dungeons, both were finalists of IndieCade. I read the description and watched the gameplay movie and was completely stunned. I'm really looking forward to it.

The Amazon link is the same one as the PS3 link, could you provide me with the right one? How would you suggest to integrate these links? Since so far I only link to sites where you can pay, should I put "Amazon US (XBox 360 & PS3)"?

Anything you find in this thread:
http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/absolute_best_tower_defense_games

But from this thread:
Defense Grid: The Awakening
Gratuitous Space Battles
Anomaly: Warzone Earth (already there)

Add (for sure):
Immortal Defense
Zombie Pirates (http://www.dustdevilstudios.com/)

Maybe (if these qualify as indie enough):
Plants vs. Zombies
Trenched (http://www.trenchedgame.com/) Doublefine has put out some semi-big titles, so you might not feel like including them.
