So lately I have been craving for a good RPG game, not one like Diablo but something similiar to Elder Scrolls or Fallout. A game with an open world which allows for exploration. I don't need a good story or anything fancy.

Just a good RPG with an open world, where you kill monsters, find good loot and level up. I'm open for anything.

I have been looking at Risen lately, but it looks kind of awkward to play. Any suggestions?

World Of Warcraft.
Baldur's Gate 2.
Icewind Dale Series.

Arcanum. Basically, steampunk Fallout.
How about Gothic ?
Try the Gothic series, from the same developers of Risen. Controls may be a bit ankward, but as soon as you get used to them the first two games are real gems, the third is a bit rushed but patched is wonderful, too.

Licurg: How about Gothic ?
I would of said Gothic too but he said "I have been looking at Risen lately, but it looks kind of awkward to play." so I'm thinking he wants something easy to get into.

Never played Risen, but Gothic isn't really that hard to get into.

The controls are pain in the ass to get used to.

ONLY!?
Well even if the controls in Gothic are pain in the ass, junker154 should play the game anyway because Gothic is a great RPG.
I'm looking for a singleplayer experience, I don't like MMOs in any way.

I already own Baldurs Gate, Arcanum and Fallout.

When I played Gothic, I didn't like it that much. Although I played the demo of Risen which was more enjoyable. Thanks for the suggestions so far.
I thought someone suggested "Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning" but apparently I imagined it. It's far from a perfect game but I found it fun to play in small doses.
Neverwinter Nights 1&2?! You can also try Dragon Age: Origins.
I already played Kingdoms of Amalur. I don't like Dragon Age or Neverwinter Nights that much because of the party system. I prefer to control one single character instead of a whole group.
