I am finally going to watch Platoon, Das Boot (5 hour version) and Die Brucke 1959, but do you know anything else?

I've seen Apocalypse Now, Thin Red Line, Heartbreak Ridge, All Quiet on the Western Front and a few more.

But please, I want some real raw experience, not some "epic" "filled with pathos" bullcraps like Saving Private Ryan.

I'd apprecieate any recommendations :-)

Thanks. I think I've seen it, but I was too young to understand it. I have a DVD somewhere, gonna rewatch it.
