I'd like to play some good, old fashioned hack'n slash like Diablo, or (isometric) top-down shooter like Crusader: No Remorse. Of course I've played those two already + Take No Prisoners, Total Carnage, Shadowgrounds (WINNER!) and some others (Smash TV, Alien Breed, Assault Trooper, Threat, Expendables + crapload of less memorable...). I'd like game to have following qualities:
Real-time all the way
More fighting than dialogue
At least some dialogue and story
Player controls weapons of his main character (like in Diablo & Shadowgrounds, not like in BioWare's Baldur's Gate)
Good gameplay, overall good quality
No adware or copy protection crap

I've played demo of Titan's Quest and it is strong candidate, if I can ever find it. But is anything available right here in GOG, or somewhere else for download?

Sounds like you want Nox. A Diablo clone available right here on GOG.
I've only played a little of it, but what I played was good.
Would you be willing to give LBA (little big adventure) a try? It's not exactly an action shooter, more like a part platformer and part adventure, but you still control your character in a (mostly) top-down isometric perspective and using your arsenal (so to speak) is an important part of the series. Well, you're basically throwing balls at things until they pop into nothing, or straight up punching them in the face with the same net result.

Oh, Nox, right. Yeah, I vote for that too.

Masterbat-...oh you mean a game!
Torchlight
Technically Beat hazard is that sort of game.
Definitely Nox, like the others said.

Divine Divinity might be worth looking into, too. It's not perfect (e.g. some bad pathfinding and pixel-hunting inventory), but still quite enjoyable.

Both are Diablo clones but with more story and dialogues, while still focussing on hack-and-slash action.

Town down shooter(ish):
Shadowgrounds: Survivor
*shooter series (Alien Shooter 1-2, Zombie shooter 1-2)
Mageslayer
Pineapple smash crew

Hack & Slash:
Titan Quest (get Titan Quest Gold)

something I love to recommend:

Walkover (www.walkover.org)
Free and indipendent (I am part of the dev team and the webpage is my work *gg*) top down action shooter :)
Titan Quest Gold is available on Gamersgate (Steam as well), and I can easily recommend it (the expansion pack improves a lot, so do get the gold version). There even are some awesome mods available.

Your description fits Steel Storm: Burning Retribution, though I don't think it's particularly good - but still fun for a while.

Bastion is an obvious choice for somewhat Diablo-like gameplay and great story. Seriously, give it a try, it's awesome ;)

Alien Swarm has been recommended to me for coop play, haven't tried it yet, though.

I'm not sure if you're interested in that genre as well, but if you like side-scrolling shooters as well, Jamestown should fit the bill perfectly

This is a brilliant recommendation. It checks off every point with gusto, and can be purchased DRM free. There are very few cutscenes and for the most part it reveals the plot while you're smashing things.

Only downside is that the pace is quite a lot slower than the other games you mentioned in your first post... but you will probably love it anyway. There's even a demo on Steam to get you roped in.

If the OP hasn't played Bastion, play Bastion right now.

Nox is good.

Divine Divinity is hit or miss, might be your thing, might not.

Titan Quest is what you actually should play right after Bastion.

There's another Diablo tribute named Loki that got pretty mediocre reviews, might be worth checking out. I'm not aware if it's for sale, you know what to do to demo it, then maybe find someplace selling it if you like it.

Path of the Exile beta key would also hit the spot for you.

Warhammer 40k: Kill Team was really fun, but I think was console only.

Also, it doesn't play like what you think, you should try SPAZ. I think you'll find what you want in a slightly different wrapping if you do.

I'd throw Arcanum in there but playing it in real time it's a shadow of what it is in turn based.
If you do decide to settle for Titan's Quest, make sure you install the fan patch.
From what you describe, I'd say that Alien Shooter 2 should be exactly what you're looking for.

Ooh, I forgot that part. Hell yes, install the fan patch. It unscrews up the bugs that The Immortal Throne introduced (which was sad because the core mechanics of the game just got even more awesome with IT).
Good shopping list so far. What can you tell me about Sacred?
aha! The perfect place for...THIS
