I have one more game to pick up from Amazon.com to fulfill the Super Savings offer, but I can't think of anything else I'd like. I've already got most of the games that were hot (or at least mildly so), including Dragon Age, Arkham Asylum, Alpha Protocol, The Saboteur, Call of Pripyat. If anybody has any ideas on what else is good, let me know :)

Note: doesn't have to be completely DRM-free, as long as it doesn't have online activation (which was why I decided not to buy Mirror's Edge a second time, even though it has a revoke tool already), or even better, if it has a patch that removes DRM like Alpha Protocol

Can you give us some titles you're considering, maybe? I can start name-dropping games that I think are good, like Fallout: New Vegas or Neverwinter Nights 2 Platinum but, as you say you already have most of the ones that were hot, that might become a rather tiresome exercise ;)
Mass Effect 2 as well. Also the Sega Megadrive/Genesis packs are DRM-Free.
Oh, and the King's Bounty games are great -- The Legend, Armored Princess and Crossworlds. Haven't tried that last one yet, but the first two are awesome.

Delixe: Mass Effect 2 as well.
Doesn't that require a serial number or something?

Didn't when I installed it. It was the same DRM as Dragon Age, DRM free game but the DLC had to be authenticated online with the cerberus code.

I'm not considering anything right now. I'm also not averse to any genre in particular, so I'm open to anything out there.

I also consider Steamworks to be DRM, and if I'm not wrong, the King's Bounty games have online activation, and Crossworlds is Starforce-infected :P. I should have been clearer in the OP: as long as there isn't online authentication in any form, it's fine.

Let's see, I already own:
Neverwinter Nights 2
Riddick Butcher Bay
Doom 3
Alpha Protocol
Arkham Asylum
Dragon Age
The Saboteur
Call of Pripyat
Twitcher 1 and 2
Quake 4
STALKER
Wolfenstein
Trine
Company of Heroes
Supreme Commander

I may have missed out a few.

Yeah I sorta like ME1. I'll consider ME2. It is too bad that ME1 requires OA, which means I won't be buying it retail.
According to this thread the DVD version of King's Bounty doesn't require online activation. So that would be my recommendation then ;-)

Edit: it's a shame that you're forcing this rule on yourself -- your missing out on some really great games.

Ah thanks. Didn't know that about KB.

You're mistaken, I own most games (apart from Ubistuff) that have online activation. These I buy via Gamersgate (in fact I already own all 3 KB games on Gamersgate, as with Trine, which I also own a retail copy of), and occasionally via Steam. It's only retail that I make it a point not to buy games with OA. ;)

No problem, and fair enough then :-) would've been a shame if you missed out on some of those games.

I don't know what this Super Savings offer is... and kinda baffled that Amazon ships these AAA games to Singapore, how do you do it?

You like Mega Drive games, don't you? There is this Gold Edition at retail, guess it's DRM-free, although the price is a scary $30. IIRC it has the Sonic games included, unlike on DD stores which the Sonics are not included in packs.

I have a forward shipping address in the US. Basically what it is is a warehouse, and they consolidate all the items I buy there, then ship it to Singapore. The shipping rate is really quite cheap ($12 for first 0.5kg, then $3 for every subsequent 0.5kg). Amazon's Super Saver Shipping is a scheme where you get free shipping if your shipping address is in the US, provided you buy more than $25 of items that are covered by this scheme.

Check this website out. I'm sure they ship to Brazil too.

So far they've been reliable. Customer support is very helpful (they helped me trace down a few missing packages). They ship via DHL, and my first shipment got here in a week. Do note though that shipping weight tends to be more costly than expected because they usually charge by volumetric weight. If the item is bigger than what it weighs, then it goes by volumetric weight, otherwise it will simply go by its default weight. For games though, it typically goes by volumetric weight, so a shipment that should weigh 1.5kg will have a rough volumetric weight of 2.5kg - 3.0kg

Fallout 3 GOTY is close to DRM-free. The Steam copy (and I hear retail too) only has a DRMed launcher. I have heard that there are community launchers (custom modloaders etc). GFWL is not necessary and there is a mod so it doesn't even try to load.

Any interest in that Gold Edition? Ah, forward shipping address since they are in Portland, Oregon. I've heard of these but never really searched about any.

Can you send to them like 2, 3 or more orders, and let them ship to your home all of them at once? How the taxes are calculated if you group orders, or they don't even bother with which product category it is?

But you don't need to pay a subscription to this Amazon's Super Saver Shipping if it's continental US, right? Lately I've been ordering only books and Blu-rays from Amazon, the rest (AAA games included) is a pain in the ass to get here without paying triple the original price, plus getting taxed in customs.

Thank you for the site tip, Lowy. Although DHL gets taxed here, I'm afraid, if the customs get to open the DHL package... :(
