taczillabr: Any interest in that Gold Edition? Ah, forward shipping address since they are in Portland, Oregon. I've heard of these but never really searched about any.

Can you send to them like 2, 3 or more orders, and let them ship to your home all of them at once? How the taxes are calculated if you group orders, or they don't even bother with which product category it is?

But you don't need to pay a subscription to this Amazon's Super Saver Shipping if it's continental US, right? Lately I've been ordering only books and Blu-rays from Amazon, the rest (AAA games included) is a pain in the ass to get here without paying triple the original price, plus getting taxed in customs.

Thank you for the site tip, Lowy. Although DHL gets taxed here, I'm afraid, if the customs get to open the DHL package... :(
Yeah. What I do is, I buy from multiple sellers, then the orders will come in at various times. The Gateway Lite membership only allows you 15 free days of storage, but I think Premium, which requires you to make 3 shipments, lets you have 60 days of free storage.

The Super Saver is free, no subscription needed, provided you have an address in the US yeah. That's the cool thing about this. With US orders, I no longer have to pay $30 for one small shipment sent via USPS.

The last time I shipped, I didn't have to pay any taxes I think. Only costs were the fuel surcharge, basic shipping cost and insurance. Maybe that's because Singapore isn't tax-heavy on imports, or I may have overlooked it.

asb: Fallout 3 GOTY is close to DRM-free. The Steam copy (and I hear retail too) only has a DRMed launcher. I have heard that there are community launchers (custom modloaders etc). GFWL is not necessary and there is a mod so it doesn't even try to load.
Yeah I may just get it one of these days.

get far cry that is offered here. As i can see you play also ego-shooter and here you can get a very good one.
Some more suggestions, if you don't already have them:

Risen
Dragon Knight Saga
Drakensang

I'm currently playing through Risen and am really enjoying it.

Thanks man, will read more and guess I'll try the service futurely since you said it's safe.

An equal service but based on England would be helpful too, since there are many game stores in the UK with free shipping, selling recent games for 10 pounds or less.

Yep there are differences in taxes. In a page somewhere I saw you pay 5% of something, while I pay 10%. And then there's the extortion that is Brazil customs's taxes, which are calculated only when it arrives here.

Oh right already have Drakensang. Good recommendation, DRM-free too, although my brother got really bored of it after a while and only played it to try new character builds. I do want to get Risen and D2DKS, but they're still quite steep on Amazon. Maybe when they become cheaper...

No problem glad it is useful. Yeah a UK forward shipping service would be nice. Although England's shipping rates seem decent enough, it's the reliability of the air mail service that concerns me - I have more missing packages from the UK than I do with the US (lost 4 from the UK, 2 from US, with 5 orders from the US for every 2 from the UK). I'm still praying and hoping those items eventually make their way here (I have, amongst them, Ultimate Doom, Thief 1 and the entire Privateer set including the Speech packs), but there's probably no more than a sliver of hope.

Oh and one more thing attractive about forward shipping is that I only had 1 item lost out of 12 (but that 1 item happened to be Darklands. WOE!!!). They also have live chat support, sort of like MSN Messenger but accessed straight from the browser.

Indeed royal mail is cheap and I cheer everytime at checkout when VAT is removed for me, but I've also had a bad experience from royal mail: one original they sent got lost, and the replacement for that arrived damaged... :/

Good to know that they have a nice support, I've seen that they can also take pictures of your packages (don't know if closed or opened) and send for you to check, that's nice. Thanks again Lowy, I'm thinking of buying F4AF and F/A-18 from here, plus other places.
