I just pre-ordered The Witcher 3, and being in Europe, that means I got codes for two $5.99 games.

I've already used one of them, but I can't quite decide what the second game is going to go to - so I'd like you guys to give me some ideas.

I have two prizes to give away to the best suggestions: One GOG.com copy of Neverwinter Nights: Diamond Edition and one Steam copy of Contraption Maker.

Here's how you enter:
1) Look at my game collection to get an idea about the type of games I like. (Be careful about drawing conclusions based on games that have been in a bundle.)
2) Pick one game on GOG that is normally priced $5.99 or less (because otherwise I can't use the coupon). Also, check that I don't already own the game (here or elsewhere).
3) Write a few words explaining why your pick is a good fit for me, based on the titles in my collection.
4) State which of the two games you want to enter for. You can enter for both games, but you can only win one of them, so list your preferred prize first.

You can post multiple recommendations if you like, but the limit of one prize per person still applies.

I will select the best recommendation among the entrants for each game and award their chosen prize to them. This will be determined by your choice of game and the quality of your argument - even if I absolutely hate the game you suggest, you can still win a prize as long as you provide a good enough reason for thinking I might like it.

If no one provides a good set of reasons, I reserve the right to withhold either prize. ("Good" simply means that I can understand why you suggested that game.) You can edit and refine your argument as much as you like until the deadline; posts edited after that are disqualified.

The deadline for entering is Saturday, July 12, 12:00 UTC. I will pick winners shortly thereafter and notify them via a PM.

Ok, my take (just browsed your PC list):
1) you like adventures game
2) the only game you AND I have in common (in the completed category) is Full throttle
3) I couldn't help but notice you completed ....softporn ?

Sooo ..... having such a different experience in games with you is a bit of a complication, but I am pretty sure any game with an even slightly complex story should do the trick ......lemme think a bit, I'll edit later (as usual)

Edit1 : Ramblings
- I can't recommend something I didn't play
- Not too much action driven ..... because "softporn" (I really have no idea what kind of game that is, but the mere idea of what kind of videogame it could be boggles my imagination)
- That's a long list. Unfinished is not very explicit, did you stat every single game ?
- Do we have to recommend an Unfinished one ? Can it be a beaten one ? I suppose Completed > beaten because gold, innit ?
- What does teh Dash mean ?
- Oh I know... a game where you write things, you seem proficient in writing games list ;)

Potzato: 3) I couldn't help but notice you completed ....softporn ?
Leisure Suit Larry is one of my favorite adventure game series, and the first game was essentially a (much improved) remake ofSoftporn. I can't call it my favorite without knowing the origins, can I? ;)

Don't let the completion status weigh too much - obviously I'm more likely to have enjoyed those games, but there are a lot of other games I like, but just haven't gotten around to completing yet.

You're supposed to recommend a game I don't have yet, and which is on GOG for a normal price of $5.99 or less. In other words, something that isn't on my list.

I provide the list to give you guys some clues as to what kind of games I like, and to make sure you're not picking a game I already own. ;) Obviously, games I've beaten or completed are more likely to reflect my tastes accurately, but other than that, just focus on finding some games you have played, and find a game on GOG that's sufficiently similar.

Potzato: - What does teh Dash mean ?
That refers to a game without a sufficiently well-defined completion criteria (there's no real way to say "I've done everything possible").

Hmmmm......Patrician 3...for a change of pace. Clever giveaway! Starts as a fairly simple trading game but by the end you've built a complex trading network.

That makes a lot of sense all of a sudden :)
... and things way easier. I have to think again though.

Lost in limbo / dropped at some point. Ok !

That's not exactly right either.

I suggest you read my explanation under the FAQ, but essentially, it's a game that doesn't really have any place where it "ends". As an example, MMOs fall into this category; you can't really "beat" an MMO.

Games with this status can still be excellent candidates for recommending another game.

If I'm reading the list correctly, then I suggest you get In Cold Blood as you seems to hav a few adventure games, a few action games, and this one is a good combination of the two (and for my money) the only game other than B.A.S.S. that Revolution did worth a damn!

Also: not in!
My recommendation : Stonekeep (I checked your list twice an you don't seem to have it)

Impressive cutscenes/voices/introduction given the era.
Very nice mix of adventure, puzzlement, action, and .... oh, Well !
Won't eat big chunks of your life (edit : by life I mean time / sleep ) like many (all ?) unreal engine games.
I considered the story and the whole vibe of the game very light hearted (may be nostalgia talking).
Well, it's on gog at $5.99, and a monument of a game.

You already have legend of grimrock, if you enjoyed it even a litlle you should really love Stonekeep, given you completed a lot of old great classics.

MMOs are beaten the day you stop playing them :)
On a more serious note, I see your point.

Edit : oh and thanks sachys for making me remind this : not in :)

Not in, but if you like adventure games, do get The Feeble Files.
NOT IN,

that being said you seem to like a fun and quirky style of games, so I would say Startopia could fit the bill for ya :)

My recommendation for you is Richard & Alice because it's an excellent adventure game that you do not already own. Please count me in the giveaway for Cbob60, so that if I win the giveaway, Cbob60 gets whichever one of the games that he or she wants. Thank you. +1
Not in but thanks for the giveaway!

How about getting Arx Fatalis as it never goes on sale?
Not in, but I noticed that you've mostly completed Adventure games, and you're missing Scratches. It's $9.99 here, so you obviously can't use your coupon on it, but if you're ever looking for another game later you might want to pick it up.
Well I recommend Ring Runner ...

And I don't want anything in return.
I can see a lot of adventure games, some horror games and no The Cat Lady or Sanitarium! So, I would recommend buying them in the future. Both are 9.99, so don't qualify here, but they are really worth giving a try at some point.
