IronStar: Something from Bonelli? Brendon is quite nice, but I'm not sure if it was ever released in English.

Also, looking at your location try finding Robotech: Wings of Gibraltar. :D
Thanks for personalising your reply... you peaked my interest, it didn't ocur to me that there would be comics about gibraltar... I'll definatly check this out... thanks pal

edit: just realised comic is not really about Gibraltar at all... thanks all the same... :)

If you try any of our recommendations, please do make another thread what you think! :-)

For the already quite famous and established artists, who would be published in an album form, I recommend simply to try Amazon (co.uk).

Otherwise, specialized stores or second-hand book stores. Plus comic conventions or fairs are for those who are willing to invest the effort.

Also, additionally, as far as recommendations go, Enki Bilal is a classic, very futuristic but also pretty dystopian, glum stories, so if you like happy-go-lucky, this one is not for you. Writing and art is awesome, though.

For a bit more romantic, warm kind of feel, Hugo Pratt's Corto Maltese, a sailor that wanders in a past era more elegant and adventurous than ours, might also be worth checking out.

Finally, my older brother had this very cool sci-fi comic called (I think) Warlock that featured these Centaurion looking creatures (females), the males being somehow more humanoid-satyrian, and they battled humans among other things, that they had mind control over. Does anyone know who wrote this and which comic I mean??

Selfish question, but, yeah, I'd recommend it, too! :-)

Edit: snipping, when quoting - gääh!
