Holy crap, I've been in the mood for a good strategy game. I'm only going to buy one or two of these.
Will I get more replay value out of Empire Earth or Ground Control?
Well, I decided to try Ground Control 2 and The Lords of the Realm 1&2 pack.
I never grew up as a strategy gamer, so any time I see a modern RTS that is played online I am immediately turned off because I'm sure I'll get wasted before even figuring out how to play. I'm trying to break into the strategy genre a little more and these older games seem better for that than some of the newer strategy titles. They look and feel a little more akin to complex board games, and that somehow makes them less intimidating than some crazy competitive online war game.

Empire Earth (and the first sequel even more) has highly customizable skirmish matches, so if you like playing skirmish against the AI or friends, that guarantees quite a number of play-hours.
I already have what I want.
The less money I spend on GOG promos = the more money I can spend on drugs :)
Bought the pack.
I wish we had more options to buy complete packs, but this seems to be a good start 8).
Hey, why wasn't Sniper Elite at the discount?
It was distributed by Rebellion aswell!

No, Rebellion developed that game, but MC2 is the publisher.

I couldn't resist. I had to buy three of them.
I made out with Empire Earth Gold, Ground Control II, and Evil Genius for around $15 USD. Not a bad deal at all.
Another promo where I own all the interesting games already.
Seeing it reminded me of how cool it would be if GOG could release Digital Illusion's pinball trilogy, though (as Rebellion owns the rights). Come on, GOG, do it! :-)
Awesome deal guys! I have a lot of these in boxes and I'm still re-buying them, the convenience of an installer I know still works and not having some ancient DRM on the disk is worth 3 bucks!

Lotr 2 is a turn based game, the rts part isn't very well developed, you can even skip that part and let the cpu do the battle instantly, and that's how I usually play, it's more a management game than an rts, but it's wonderful nonetheless
