Great titles from Rebellion, including Sniper Elite: Berlin 1945, the Empire Earth series, Evil Genius and two Ground Control games, are available this weekend with a 50% discount.

You may have heard about a new release in the Sniper Elite series that came out today, so we thought it would be topical for you to get a look at the original game here on GOG.com for just $4.99. Unlike modern FPS games, where you just go forward guns-blazing through whichever route isn't blocked, [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/sniper_elite_berlin_1945]Sniper Elite is about stealth, patience and precision. You will have to choose the best route, avoid enemy patrols, look our for enemy snipers, wait for openings and, if an opportunity presents itself, take a shot. Make sure to give the original Sniper Elite, here on GOG.com, a test for only $4.99.

Empire Earth is the first title of an acclaimed series of real-time strategy games, bundled with the Art of Conquest expansion pack. The game is (loosely) based on actual history, starting with the prehistoric age and spanning half a million years. You can essentially create your own civilization by selecting new unit/building bonuses, epoch by epoch. Fans of the first Empire Earth game will not be disappointed with , as it both retained all the strong points of its predecessor and added a ton of new features and improvements, making the game more complex, challenging and ultimately more satisfying to play. [url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/empire_earth_3]Empire Earth III, the third game in this great series, is also on sale today as well.

Ground Control looks like a real-time strategy, but there’s no resource gathering or building units; it’s more of a real-time tactics game. Instead, the game feels more like commanding an actual hi-tech army. Ground Control 2: Operation Exodus follows the path of its predecessor and forms a fast-paced tactical game which, when combined with its deep, interesting storyline, will leave you begging for more.

If you haven’t played Evil Genius, you've missed out on a truckload of fun! Featuring cartoonish design, tons of dark humor, and great gameplay, this is one game you simply shouldn't miss! You are put in the role of an Evil Genius - a criminal mastermind intent on world domination. You must build your underground lair, guard it from meddling secret agents and send your minions to perform acts of infamy across the globe. Considered by many as a spiritual successor to the Dungeon Keeper series, this game definitely showcases the quirky humor and brilliant gameplay of that series, and it’s just $4.99 this weekend!

Check all 12 discounted titles from Rebellion. This offer lasts until Monday, May 7th at 11.59 p.m. EDT.
Well...I took Lord of the Realms 1/2 on sale a while ago. Empire Earth 1 was free when I received it. I would have taken Pinball Gold Pack, but without the music for illusions, I'll pass. Nothing else interests me here, pity.
Wow, I didn't even know the pinball pack was on GOG, would have bought without promo. Instabuy!
Some great games there evil genius is a blast. Sadly i have all these games from previous promos so nothing for me here.

pizzapicante27: Can someone make me a recomendation-comparisson (or lack of it) for Lords of the Realm Royal Ed. and Lords of the Realm 3?
Forget about LOTR3. Lords of the Realm 2 is the best of the series and it is totally worth the price.

wizall: No one seems to have mentioned Lords of Magic. Any thoughts on that one? I enjoy all those HoMM/AoW games.
Lords of Magic has a pretty solid foundation. Fun gameplay, quite easy to get into without being simplistic and it also looks pretty nice for its age. The problem I had with it was the enemy turn length. At least back when the game was released, on my P1 166mhz 32mb ram computer the enemies turns would feel like they lasted forever.

Not to piss on your flowerbed or anything, but Ground Control is free.

You're selling a free game.

This has been discussed. It does include some exclusive levels (expansion I think) not included with the free version :) however if you'd rather get it free, then do so. I believe that's GoG's stance on it.

Or maybe you are the one that "sucks ass"?
Grabbed the whole pack. Great games. :)
Oh GOG why do you do this to my bank account? I really wasn't planning to get any games for a while, and then you come up with Evil Genius and Lords of the realm2 on your weekend promo. (Ah, the time I spent on Lotr2 back then...)
