I'm in! Been playing the first one every now and then for a while now. Thanks!

EDIT: I'll edit the screenshots in later, when I find time.

Not entering, but I would encourage everyone who enjoys CRPGs to do so (and also play RoA 1 & 2). The entirely trilogy is great!
And so is Drakensang and its prequel Drakensang: The River of time, which is set in the same universe.

SimonG: And that is not all. Those screenshots must be taken in the brothels of both games.
I'm sure, Rahja will be pleased by this condition. I think.

DSA is one of my favorite RPGs and these games are great adaptions of it. So, this giveaway sure is a great (not to mention generous) idea.
Not entering. I did try the RoA games thanks to this thread, and I'd love to try win the third game, but I'm a little too busy with college work right now though.

By the way, in my first day in the world of Arkania, I killed two brigands, angered some shopowner, was treated to two rounds of beer by two strangers, and had to help a dwarf named SimonG walk to our room since he had trouble holding his alcohol. :P
+1 but I don't think I can enter. I don't have the time to do this! A mere week is too little for a mortal like me :(
Hahaha cool giveaway. Thanks!
ROA 2 hates me. :( No matter what I do or whether I run it in fullscreeen or in a window everytime I try to use a menu button the game crashes to desktop.

Try posting in the subforum, maybe somebody can help you. Sadly, I can't think of anything.

Have you tried changing the graphic renderer in dosbox? I've found that most of my issues are due to it not being the right one for my system.

How do I do that?
Where realms of arkania is located in the start menu (bottom left of screen when you click the windows icon) You should not only see the Realms of arkania icon, but also a Dosbox settings icon. When you click the dosbox settings, there are options to change to direct draw (and about 4 others). Try each one, and hopefully one of them will be stable.

It may also be in the actual GOG games install folder.

Are those brothels far into the game? I'd like to enter your contest, but I plan to start my first RoA session this evening, and am not sure whether I'll have enough time to reach a brothel before the deadline, seeing as I first have to study the interface and learn the basic game mechanics. I do hope I'll enjoy both games, though. I've been looking for something like Might and Magic, only more mature.

They brothel in RoA is rather hard to find and will probably be found by most new players near the end of the game (which was my intention). Brothels in RoA 2 are a lot easier to find.

The goal isn't to rush trough the game for those brothels, but to see if you like the game and then get RoA 3 from me. If somebody finds it to bothersome to find either one, RoA 3 would give them no great joy. And playing those two great games should be a reward on its own :-).

If you play the games on and of through the next week, you will have plenty of time to reach both.
Too bad, as my job and other obligaitons allow me to game for only up to three hours each day, and I intend to take things slowly. I've been reading up on the game material (manual, cluebook, forum posts and reviews) and intend to spend several hours just creating my party and planning my first steps, as I do with all great RPGs.
