I'm feeling nostalgic tonight.

Back in the late '80's SSI's "Phantasie III: The Wrath of Nikademus" was the best game I knew and I played it a lot with my Amiga. I recently learned that there was also a PC version and that would make a nice addition to GOG catalogue.

Speaking of SSI, I think that their Gold Box AD&D games would also make a nice addition (despite the fact that I already have PC version of all of them). However I'm missing PC versions of the "Eye of Beholder" -series

Speaking of "Eye of Beholder" -style of games, the grand master of the genre FTL's "Dungeon Master" and Psygnosis' 1993 sci-fi RPG "Hired Guns", which allowed up to 4 players, would also be really cool additions.

I was wondering if anyone else remembers these games and wants to see them on Good Old Games.

I think they linger now in abandonware limbo, and I don't know if GOG would be able to make any money off them.

DM has a special place in my heart, and I was just complimenting Grimwerk for having a Screamer slice as his avatar.

I don't know how much money GOG could make with them, but they have plenty of old goodies like old Sierra adventures, Ultima games and Horrosoft's "Personal Nighmare" and "Waxworks", which also were considered as abandonware some time ago. So, I don't think it's impossibility to see more games of that era in GOG.

And at least personally I rather get legal copy than abandonware version. It looks better on my collection.

Drakkhen is another good old Amiga RPG. And of course the old SSI D&D titles, though the quality varies widely amongst those.

Yeah, I think anything decent that has an AD&D sticker on it would make money for GOG, if they're happy to bring Wasteland here (which was of the same 'go read entries in a separate, physical journal because we need to save memory space' era)
There's also the 2 Buck Rogers games, also based on a TSR tabletop roleplaying system, AD&D in space, basically, although being based on Buck Rogers AND a Hasbro owned gaming system is going to make them extra hard

I also fondly remember the old SSI Gold Box games (and already voted for them on the request games feature). The first game, Pool of Radiance, is my favourite and I still play it every few years on a C=64 emulator. Would love to see it on GOG.

They are there, just like almost every game you could think of. And I already voted all of them.

Hopefully we will see those and plenty of other older games here, because GOG is pretty much the only store which has any interest to republish the games of my childhood.
