GOG's got many of my favourite games available for download. IMO, they have had a pretty decent stint the last 3-4 months with some old classics, particularly the Thief series..

However why are we hosting new releases, like the latest 3?

Surely releasing something like System Shock 1 + 2 would have been more logical? Not everyone has the power to run modern day games, and what's the point? They can be ascertained from anywhere, is it purely a business decision or is GOG not so OG any more?

Yours is not going to be a popular post I'm afraid.. gog did say that this was the direction they were going, but I wholeheartedly agree with you. Too many 'good old games' left out there to justify foisting all this on their present audience, but tbh we're no longer the real market gog are aiming the future business at.

It's just another Bioware all over again, screw over the audience that built your name to get the bigger mass audience.... MOAR MONEEZ.

Because the community responded favourably to the prospect of newer titles in the last customer survey.

look into the legality of getting rights to distribution of old games

Look at Jimmy's post.

Look back in the forums

That's not how you use the word "ascertain".
I wasn't aware that selling one subset precluded one from selling another.

You're either a virgin or a dirty, dirty whore.

Witty comment!
