Old giveaway ended, here's the new one. The game this week: Jade Empire: Special Edition.

Rules are simple:
- tell me which BioWare you like more. The old one (Baldur's Gate, KotOR), or the new one (Dragon Age, Mass Effect)
- winner will be chosen by random.org
- giveaway ends on Wednesday, June 11, 1 p.m. GMT
- this giveaway is "DRM free". No rep requirements or other restrictions. Just do me one favour: Don't enter just because there's a chance to get something for free! Enter only if you want to play the game. Redeeming games you're not going to play anytime soon sucks.
The really old Bioware (Baldur's Gate 2, MDK2).

Not in, as I have several better games in my waiting list right now.

Well I played all the old BW games, and have never played Mass Effect (I own the trilogy on origin, just never played yet) or DA so I'd have to say old.

Also not in , but thanks for your continued generosity.
Thanks for hosting this giveaway! I'm in as Jade Empire has long been on my wishlist. As for your question, I haven't played any of the older Bioware games, nor the Mass Effect series, but I have played Dragon Age and I didn't like it very much(I guess the setting and general environment didn't appeal to me-I just couldn't go on after a while...). And judging from the praise that Baldur's Gate(for example) gets, I guess I'd prefer a whole lot more the older Bioware games...
Not in but +1

The old Bioware... The new one's games aren't even worth pirating :P
I'm in. +1

I like the old Bioware better. Their games seemed to be made with love and passion. And Baldur's Gate 2 is one of the best games ever made. The new Bioware just seems to only care about money. And they are guilty of creating something the old Bioware would of never created... Dragon Age 2... If hell is real, the devil forces people to play Dragon Age 2 for all eternity.
I never played the Dragon Age, so I'll have to go with the old Bioware (Baldur's Gate 2). Actually... think I would probably go with the old Bioware anyway. ;p

Would like to be in for Spinorial, if I may.

Thanks!

In for Treasure, because we would make a good team, as I've only played the older Bioware games ;-)
They're real classics, what's there more to say. Maybe that I was a bit disappointed, that the different titles lacked distinct storylines and that they felt a bit like déjà vus.

Thanks for another nice GOG giveaway real.geizterfahr! +1

Modern Bioware games have no souls regarding to the old ones, but it's just my point of view.

Not in, but +1 for you.

I have to admit I get enjoyment out of both the new and old BioWare games (although I didn't particularly care for DA2 - probably will never replay that one). But overall if I were forced to choose I'd go with the old BioWare (NWN and earlier).
Thank you! In & +1! :D

Planescape Torment! so,the old one :P
I'm in.
The old Bioware, I love BG2 and KotOR. Superb story, interesting characters...

Thank you real.geizterfahr! I'm in.
From the Bioware games I mostly like KotOR.
I liked especially the companions you get and the options you get for them.
It really made me care for them.
Thank you for the giveaway real.geizterfahrer and if it's allowed, count me in for phandom.
I have played Baldur's Gate 1+2, MDK 2, Neverwinter Nights, KotOR, Jade Empire and the Mass Effect Trilogy, but no Dragon Age. Barring a chance that the 2 Dragon Age games are so awesome, my answer is easy; old Bioware all the way, because I found Jade Empire and the Mass Effect trilogy not too great of games, especially when compared to Baldur's Gate 2 and even Neverwinter Nights.

Thanks for the giveaway real.geizterfahr (+1).

I'm most definitely in as Jade Empire: Special Edition has been resting uneasily on my wish list for quite some time now.

So far I've only played through Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition and the first two Mass Effect games so... the new ones (unless Planescape: Torment counts*).

*In that case my answer would be the old Bioware titles.
