(Yes, as a matter of fact, the title IS meant to stir up a smaller storm. It's also somehow relevant/appropriate to the meaning of this thread.)
Greetings ladies and gentlemen!
In an effort to increase you modern gamers' interest in the classical arts, I have decided (with some ideas from the artists themselves) to offer a reward for doing something so uncouth with regards to these "games" as READING (gasp!). Now, for anyone who did not faint at such an outrageuous suggestion, I must admit that I do not have the means available to validate that you actually read any of the entries, only that you have voted for some of them (which means, you could just throw a die a few times to decide the scores you give).
Sadly, not everyone who gives their vote will gain a reward as I simply do not have the financial means of doing so. Instead, everyone who votes (except the artists whose entries you are voting for, and me) will be eligible for a random draw with no less than TWO winners.
Rules for voting:
Everyone gets 7 points to distribute at will across at most 3 entries (no negative points), you are free to vote for yourself (it's fair, the other contestants can do it too). The five entries with the most points will get glorious prizes.
Voting will end on Febryary 28 (evening-time in Europe). No extensions.
The entries, in order of submission:
* dandi8
* RaggieRags
* GoJays2025
* Titanium
* Stelis: Giving up doesn't always mean you are weak.
* MoP: Scratched memories.
The current votes are as follows:
* dandi8:
* RaggieRags: 8
* GoJays2025: 2
* Titanium:
* Stelis:
* MoP: 4
That's from the votes of only MoP and RaggieRags.
I won't update this post with current post counts, but will instead do a new post whenever I decide it might be a good idea (at the very least, once more when voting is over).
Titanium: Sorry, about not getting back to you earlier. I don't know why I didn't tell you at once (you may kick me for that, if you wish), but you voted for 4 entries which is one too many. Due to that, I did not include your votes here.
Prizes:
The prizes for the writers are clearly outlined in the original post, and copying the list here serves little purpose. However, two of the voters will be randomly drawn to recieve one $5.99 GOG each.
