Rayman Origins is coming to PC in March with No DRM ! I have it on Xbox 360 and it's stunning and great fun, especially multiplayer. I highly recommend people who like old school 2D platformers, check it out. Pricing for UK is £19.99 rrp reportedly.

sounds good. but a DRM-free physical retail release from UbiSoft? i believe it when i see it. UbiSoft are notorious for underplaying the extent of their DRM pre-release.
Yay :D
They are testing gamers, I guess.
Will it be playable with keyboard ?
If this is true, then it will be an instabuy for me. Not only have I and my girlfriend been Rayman fans for years, but I do wish to give credit where credit is due. If Ubisoft have finally seen the light, then this deserves to be rewarded.

Of course, there will probably be some integration with UPlay, but if it's voluntary, why the hell not?
Didn't Ubi went as far as to call activations not DRM?

possibly. i find it hard to believe they would go from the most intrusive DRM system ever devised to no DRM at all. something's fishy...
I'm not sure if I want the console, handheld, or PC release of this game yet. I definitely plan to get it though.
Maybe they mean just Steamworks
Personally I'm OK with just Steamworks but they should say that if its what they mean...

UbiSoft don't do Steamworks, though, do they? RUSE was an exception since Eugen Systems isn't owned by UbiSoft and they could do their own thing.
I look forward to it.

Hmm I'd seen Ubi stuff on sale on Steam so I had assumed but now I check Driver: San Fransisco I notice that it doesn't seem to have achievements and Ubi's 3rd party DRM listed so, yeah, maybe not, no!
Torn between getting this for PC or 3DS. PC has ultra high-rez, 3DS has shiny 3D and portability.

3D.... on a 2D game that doesn't use any 3D assets? ;)
