Anyone played this yet, looks like a pretty cool diablo-esque kinda thing :

It comes out tomorrow. Looks good though.

I like the fact that you seem to be fighting hordes of monsters at one go, but since I already have TL2 and PoE (spent a total of $140 on both), I might as well wait for some reviews first before jumping the gun.

With T2 being about 20 bucks (I dont have it, so I'm guessing), how could you spend 120 bucks on whats essentially a free game still in beta?

Oh no I spent $115 on PoE ($100 for silver tier + shipping). T2 cost roughly $23-$25 (I forget the exact amount) after Paypal took away its cut (from the amount others transferred me, for the 4-pack).

To answer your question, I really like PoE. Best ARPG I've played since... Diablo 1? I honestly haven't enjoyed an ARPG this much since. Even TL2, while fun, was more of the same thing. PoE really pushed the boundaries while retaining many core elements of the old Diablo games.

Ah, the supporter packs! Just gave them 10 bucks myself to keep playing beta.

Didnt notice Paypal ever taking any "cut" when I used them, maybe I just wasnt paying attention.

I played the XBLA demo, there's something good in there, but on XBLA it launched on the same week as Torchlight 2 and Borderlands 2, you can simply imagine what their sales numbers must have turned out like...

It looks like it might be some good co-op fun, the monsters are big and the skills look epic, but it lacks the polish of TL2 which is the inevitable comparison.

OK, I had a look at the demo, I would say I prefer the gfx to Torchlight, seemed like a fun game from what I played, cant see a release date for Eu yet, maybe I'll just go with the XB version, thanks :)
Just to amend my previous post, I realized I didn't actually spend USD23-USD25 on TL2. That amount was in SGD (got the conversions mixed up)

Depending on which regional PayPal branch is used, they have different rules dealing with that sorta thing. PayPal Japan (which is basically run by PayPal Singapore) charge fees on sending/receiving money and won't allow the use of the "gift" option offered by other PayPal services.

As far as RAW goes, apparently it's not very good. So I'll be waiting to see what people think of the PC version when it comes out.

Do they show this "cut" on their invoice? I havent noticed it, but havent used it in awhile.

More I looked into RAW the less impressed I got, apparently its a bit of a turd.

It's mentioned somewhere during the transaction.

Cheers, I'll keep an eye out for it.
