I Played a Santa this past Christmas. That suit got really warm especially when sitting next to the fire. It was also annoying because I couldn't drink for fear of the beard/mustache thing coming off.

I hope I don't have to do it again next year.

As long as your beard never caught fire - you're supposed to get hot under the collar - not over the collar ;-)
