Definitely worth that price. Solid gunplay, races are fun, leveldesign is pretty. It's got ugly textures close-up, but I don't think you care since you're here.

Fun game. If you have the hardware you can modify it to look how it was actually supposed to look on the PC.
I have it and am enjoying it, decent story, so far good game.<spoiler> I heard the ending is bit of a let down<spoiler>
Excellent game.

I believe this article outlines it: http://www.geforce.com/whats-new/articles/how-to-unlock-rages-high-resolution-textures-with-a-few-simple-tweaks/ .

I tried it but then had to go back since my computer was not buff enough at the time.

It's a good shooter but nothing amazing. I never had any real issues or texture pop-in after the patches.

Consoles, consoles, consoles. :) Carmack even admitted during QuakeCon that players might notice just what you mentioned.

Yes.

It's good, even despite its numerous issues, which include: Horrible ending; story and dialogue itself isn't anything truly special here; revisiting same exact areas for some side quests; some textures look awful up-close; performance issues can occur.

With that said - the action is just downright awesome and is an absolutely blast to play. This game has some of Id's best characters and most personality ever (surprise!) - and the voice-acting is pretty good. This is WHY you want to play the game.

You will probably want RAGE on disc, if you buying on the PC - it takes up like 24 GB!

I bought the complete edition pretty recently for $9 new on 360 & while its not my favorite game it was pretty decent. & pretty fun. I enjoyed allot of the characters & liked their art. My only weak complaint after getting it was that the dlc felt more like stuff that should have been in day one, didn't feel like it added anything.
Good price, not a bad game, I could run it on a pretty crap system, my mate has a really good system and couldnt run it at all...ymmv.

Thanks, I did that and it really looks better juts that the pop-us is still present.
Worth the price. Not the best game ever and it does come to a sudden stop at the end but until then it is fun.
I liked it. There were many criticisms of it's console origins, but I didn't experience anything bad. Indeed, the world looked beautiful and was flawlessly smooth, unlike some of it's console brethren; I'm looking at you GTAIV, Saints Row, etc, etc, et al, etc, et al ad nauseum. Seriously, Crysis 2 ran better than those guys...
