It´s using many gameplay mechanics from other games of it´s publisher.

BTW: Can anyone tell me if this game´s boxed edition is DRM-free?

This was one of those riddles I´ve chosen a game for that i actually haven´t played cause I´m not sure about the included DRM and I can´t find any information about this...

Well, as far as I got it in the few hours I seen on Youtube, Jimmy Hopkins is a sometimes really angry guy.
It´s not important for gameplay, but for the storyline, I think. But, as I already said, I haven´t played it. :(
Would YOU recommend it?

Certainly would,it has a really good story,and good minigames(karting,carnival stuff)
