When I first saw the GA topic Shogo was the first thing that came to mind, not because the skies were particularly beautiful (though they are pretty enough), but because I recalled being able to tractor beam myself up to the skies in (at least some) multiplayer maps.

Yeah. I was pleasantly surprised when I booted the game up last night for the shot at how nice it actually looked. (I would have submitted it anyway just because but at least it came out nicely.)

I should explain that the slight fisheye effect on the image is because I switched view modes to get the giant weapon I was holding out of the frame.

It´s no problem, the fisheye-effect looks quite stylistic in this pic!

These were taken while wandering around in the zone just outside Pripyat. I love the way the sky looks right when an emission is about to hit. I've died too many times because I like to watch the colors...
Of course, the sky looks beautiful when the emissions are over, too.
