Hey folks, I'm turning to you all again for some tablet-related advice... I have been enjoying my still-pretty-new tablet quite a bit (rooted LG G Pad 8.3 Google Play Ed.) and am really having fun with Shadowrun Returns and Avadon The Black Fortress, and especially with the ClassicBoy multiple-console emulator... I no long have a PS1, so getting to play PS1 games is particularly exciting, especially considering I can use an Xbox 360 gamepad via USB OTG.
But I'm really curious about using DosBox to play some old adventure games. I took a look at a couple Dosbox emulators on the Google Play market, and I have to admit, when I took a look at the configuration of a couple of them, I was pretty stumped... I got the distinct impression that playing games with these emulators would just be a pain in the arse...
So, I'm wondering, for any of you who use DosBox on Android, is it relatively easy to navigate and play games, or is there a steep learning curve with configuring controls that make sense? This may be a stupid set of questions, but I was a bit intimidated by what I checked out.
Also, my wife just recently won an iPad Mini in a public radio drawing (it hasn't arrived yet, but should be here within the next 2 weeks) and I'm REALLY unfamiliar with iPads. I've never been a fan of apple products (had an iPod Classic and had to Rockbox it to be able to tolerate it, and I was only able to stand using iTunes for about a week before switching to Foobar 2000.)
So the whole iOS thing is a totally new world to both of us, and I'm curious if any of you have any favorite games and/or apps that you would recommend.
And for those still reading, since I've taken so much of your time, here's a couple little goodies as a thanks. :)
