There is no DRM on GOG's games, so you can copy it to wherever you wish.
You definitely can copy them, assuming the file will fit. I'd recommend not doing that as CDs are much less cost effective than just buying a HDD.

I think the biggest games here won't fit on a CD, but instead will fit easily on however many DVDs it takes.
As said the games are DRM free so you can copy the installers to CD DVD or a HDD. You basically own your copy to do with almost as you wish, there are some little things in the small print like not using them for commercial gain etc though

*ahem*
You don't own these games.
THEY OWN YOU! :O
Just like potato chips, one you pop you can't stop.
No DRM whatsoever, copy and backup it as you please, HDD is my choice.

Yes, I came here in December 2012 for a free Duke Nukem 3D, now I got 226 games on my account...

CDs? I think I use those things as drink coasters now.

Y'know, for when the cupholder that's built into my PC isn't working right. ;)
Thanks everyone for these Information , i appreciate that ..

Dammit, I totally forgot about my cupholder! I think I never used the one that came with my current PC (2 years old).

No, seriously... I never used my DVD drive since I have this PC. I copied all my discs to a HDD loooong ago and haven't bought software in a physical store since... uhm... I don't even know anymore. I opened it once accidentaly by double clicking d: instead of c: I remember this because it frightened the shit out of my cats :P

We'll you can (games on GOG.com are DRM-free and can be installed anywhere after you've downloaded them) if it fits but I strongly suggest using USB-stick or portably HDD as some games take over 8 gigabytes of space.
The LAN party I regularly attend still has CDs as a popular 'thing'.

We have the yearly CD throwing competition, after all, so CDs become quite sought after as nobody carries any with them xD
GOG recommends you back up the games you purchase. That way if you need to reinstall, you won't have to download it again.

I try to back up each game I purchase onto DVD in addition to an external hard drive.
I guess " CD player " has a effect almost in all comments , frankly i didn't mean it i guess i was thinking about DVD but i wrote CD ..

Thanks again for everyone for their comments and ideas .
Just so you know, bold text isn't always needed.
