Antimateria: Well, solving other peoples problems is somewhat satisfying. (but solving my own mental problems don't seem to be my forte) And in that case, it a bit of a pickle.
Well, as I see it. You are level upping in a wrong way. Have no reason to explain that.
You are always here. =P
And answering nicely without bashing anyones head in verbally.
Maybe it was THE PICKLE'S FAULT?!?

;)

Well, it could be conceivable that some people look at your rep, start looking through the forum's older posts and see whatever they don't like and downrate those.

...which basically is the same thing as the ganker/stalker idea someone else mentioned.

It's easy when you have just one comment in there. If you have more, then there's much to concentrate to. Those numbers and all.. Well, to me it's not very easy.
For now at least, it takes time.
Precious time, where has it gone.. my freaking youth.. Woe is me.

Edit: And it's always the pickle's fault. Or pickle with alcohol.

Offtopic but usually a reply contained in a post will be nestled within brackets between the other posts....if you study the replies you're quoting it gets easier to see which posts are within what brackets and remove accordingly. I have faith in you. :)

Did I manage.. Well, let's have a looksie.

Edit: Seems so but it cannot be done when and if I or you are very drunk. =)

Why do you even care about your rep? It's just a meaningless number.

spindown: Why do you even care about your rep? It's just a meaningless number.
It's not the rep it's wondering why it went down after going up so fast.
Didn't you say in another topic where you complained about rep that GOG staff made it so you can only go +2 rep a day. Because you were known to rep abuse and they locked it at +2 especially for you. No ? I seem to remember you saying that.

It was locked seemingly to 2 rep up per day, and about 5 rep down per day, for some reason. Thing is this time it went down 6 in one day, which i've never seen happen since they limited the rep on this account. 5 down per day maximum is all i've ever seen.

It could be, does the reputation is not updated in real time, instead there is a background job that updates the Rep after a specified time.
Depending on how the result is built, calculated and display on the website such effects could happen.

But i don't think GOG will make the mechanics public.

Maybe the real problem is, does you watch your Rep too closely :)

Most of the time it's updated in real time, actually....or close to it.

Tell that to the others with high reps....if they lost a bunch of rep they'd be whining about it too or at least checking into it.

It's more about feeling slighted than worrying about it, and wondering what happened out of curiosity.
