HOW DO YOU OPEN UP A FREE GAME THAT YOU THINK YOU DOWNLOADED. I AM NOT VERY COMPUTER LITERATE SO IF THERE IS A ANSWER, PLEASE KEEP IT SIMPLE. GRANDMA
you start by pushing caps lock so you dont write in all caps
well after you download it you doubleclick the file and it starts installing
I can tell you how to check if 'caps-lock' is on or off on your keyboard, provided it is not more than 20 years old and its leds are working properly ...

but then I saw you signed GRANDMA so I feel like being in a surreal situation.

Can you describe us what steps you actually did ?

(Troll or not, I'll try to help)

Well, to download a game, click on My Account; you'll see a wooden shelf that has a variety of boxes on it. Click on the one you want to download, then click on "Windows installer" (presumably you're on Windows). I believe the game will automatically download through your browser.

I'm still on Windows XP, so the download goes to "Downloads" under "My Documents". Find the game installer file that was downloaded, and double-click on it. After that, it should more or less just be a matter of clicking "Next" through the install process. When that is done, navigate to game folder under the Start menu -> All Programs.

(I'm rather vague here in some parts, because I honestly don't know if you really need help or not.)

Mine is not.

At first I thought : meh caps lock, humanity is really doomed.

Then I read " GRANDMA " , and I felt bad because internet is really a nice occupation for the elderly, but eyesight issues are really a biatchery. I knew people who felt really helpless when their eyesight 'took a hit' and it's a really sad situation. For the pc trainees, ergonomy tools are really not friendly to use/find. Caps lock is an itchy band aid in my opinion, but you can't blame people.

In all cases I'm willing to help ..

(but I suspect we have to deal with a teenager that make 'the elder stroll' to dissimulate his real age by fear of flamming retaliation ... which would be legitimate on most places on the internet :)

... as long as I have additionnal information.

My default advice is to contact support (check links on gog home page).
