Can somebody confirm if I (at least) understood how is this supposed to be solved?
Every line from the puzzle will give you one letter or number that forms a code and there are two games for the grabs?!

As you've pointed out, there are things you can assume / learn about the puzzle before solving any of the clues. (Note that this is not a confirmation of your specific assumptions.)

I thought I had an a-ha! moment. I was replacing the letters with the first letter you can hear when you pronounce it. basically eye=I. It seemed to be working because I kept getting exactly one repeat for most letters I found. this means the 32 digits would become a codesized 16. There were a few that didnt seem to work out though. I dont know if I was on to something or not but I couldnt figure it out so I decided to post this method here to see if it helps anyone figure this puzzle out.
