That's what I expected from the first Expendables movie. But then it turned out to be pretty boring. Definitely one of the more disappointing movies in recent memory.

Those movies can only disappoint, as everything below literally blowing my brain out is a disappointment. But I with this lineup, damn, I don't care about the movie, I just want to make sweet love to that poster!

And, on a serious note, the Directors Cut coming out next month is supposedly a lot better.

hmm, can't see Jet Li in the poster, his fight with Dolph was the only slightly redeeming point of the last film.

This next one looks like it will be really bad. The last expandables movie was an excuse for Stallone to say "I'm not old, look!", this time it looks like an excuse for the rest to say it too. Jason Statham added a small amount of credibility to it, but ultimately Sly just sucked all life out the film to fuel his plastic surgery.

I bet most of those guys are just going to be used in a scene where they're in a church, and there's Stallone and Willis, and they're like "job job, but maybe someone else", when Schwarzenegger walks in and is like "I'm someone else, but not really for this job", and then Norris walks in and is like "I have a different job, for someone", and then Van Damme walks in and says "I'm a priest, whatchoo all up in my church about", which leads to everyone else shouting "it's the man" and dispersing. At this point, the watcher is thinking "huh, dat it?". Then Stallone receives a letter from everyone else, and it says "you so hired, son". Then they go kill people, with one cool scene and some not all that great.

I won't be convinced that this will be any good until I see Kurt Russell. That is all.

Now picture yourself in her place, would the poster be more manly? No, no it wouldn't. Not even close.

I'm pretty sure he's just a cameo, but it'll be cool to see him again. :) I wasn't expecting to be blown away by the first, I was more interested in Machete at the time (beh), but that poster rules.

Didn't watched EX1, apparently it sucked, so I'll just ignore it.

A friend linked me to that poster earlier this week. There was some debate about whether the poster was a studio draft or a fan job. Has that been resolved? I did hear about the studio having the image removed from several sites, but I didn't hear why.

The poster is missing both Jet Li and Randy Couture, which is odd.

Liam Hemsworth and Amanda Ooms seem somewhat odd casting because neither is an "action star" to my knowledge.

Word is that Van Damme leads a team of opposing mercenaries and has a big showdown with Stallone. There's a bit about it on the Wikipedia page.

Chuck Norris was already in the first movie: He was the Action! :)
