I want Stacking on PC............
Well Double Fine hasn't made a PC game in several years, while Notch & crew basically JUST make PC games. So there's a small chance that Psychonauts 2 would actually come to PC instead of just being a console-only game like all of Double Fine's other games. I have a suspicion that this doesn't mean anything, though. Why would he announce the desire publicly rather than just talking to Double Fine about it?

Heh. A clever man drops a pebble in the pool to test the waters before diving in.

I think Notch does everything publicly.

Profanity: Don't know much about the creator of Psychonauts, though.

SirPrimalform: Apart from the fact that he's the guy who created your avatar? ;)
Yeah... didn't know that either!

Though to be fair, I am still waiting for GOG to get Grim Fandango so I can finally play it. I don't think I've seen it being sold anywhere else at all.

Foxhack: Who cares about Psychonauts 2?

HOW ABOUT PORTING THE CONSOLE EXCLUSIVES TO PC FIRST?
We've gotten costume quest (which is awesome) so there remains some hope ...

Yeah, he's very impulsive and quite the blabbermouth. :P

It might be difficult... I haven't even tried Grim Fandango on Windows 7 but I had a bit of trouble with it on XP about 7 or 8 years ago. Of course, that's before I had anything but dial-up internet so there may have been fan patches that I didn't know about.

Isn't Double Fines "new business model", doing small "DLC like games" really working for them. I remember reading that in an Interview not to long ago. They might not need a "proper publisher". They are acting as their own publishes on Steam.

Where's Brutal Legend? And Stacked?

Brutal Legend is probably not going to happen. The original license for the music in the soundtrack most likely specifies specific platforms (the consoles), and the game was not successful enough to warrant re-licensing them for PC.

Stacked would be great, though.

Patience, young Padawan. ;-P. As publishing games on the PC is a lot more expensive than on consoles I can understand their hesitation. If their costume quest experiment worked, we will see them. And as those are timeless classics (which I'm simply assuming because it's Double Fine) I remain some hope.

However, they need to buy the rights to Brutal Legens back (as they did with Pyschonauts) so this might take a while.

Don't write such meaningless and awful things and nobody will be made and we'll all be happy and love eachother wearing floral shorts.
