So, if there's one person who deserves to be recognized for his hard work on classic adventure games, it's Tim Schafer. The names resonate in our dreams and memories (Day of the Tentacle, Full Throttle, Grim Fandango...).
His creativity is legendary and his team is chock full of former developers from LucasARTS when it was still true to games like Monkey Island and Indiana Jones.
I played Psychonauts about three years ago, and it remains one of the best games I've ever played. Although it was free on Gametap a year back (I think), it's out of actual production, instead being sold through Steam and some other digital distributors.
To add this game to GOG would be a hearty thank-you to Double Fine for bringing outstanding creativity, amazing characters, and a fusion of old and new back to the gaming world.
Let's support Tim and his company by giving them the recognition they deserve by putting Psychonauts up on GOG.
Oh wow, I thought this would end up being more than a beg thread, like some kind of official confirmation or hint that it was coming.
You have disappointed me. Now you must die in a fire.

Same... now I want to kick Ogodosh in the balls, then kick Tim Schafer in the balls as well.

Ouch. Well, I can change the title of the thread if that will help the bad attitudes. I want to see Psychonauts on GOG as much as you guys do, but I figured this would be the best way to get the word out. Good grief.

The best way to get games added to GOG is by voting for them on the wishlist.

I already did; I'm just trying to generate interest so that more people will vote for it on the wishlist. (!) I mean, this topic could very well become a topic discussing the many awesome attributes of the game (and that would lead to more people voting for it).

Haha, just messing with ya. I totally want Psychonauts on here.
But I still want to kick Tim Schafer in the balls.

Cool, we'll go together and knock on his door pretending to be marshmallow salesmen. He'll never suspect us. After we threaten him with replays of Cats (THE MUSICAL), we'll force him to give Psychonauts to GOG. This plan is flawless.

michaelleung: kick Tim Schafer in the balls.

I don't think he'd appreciate that very much and I'm pretty sure he hasn't done anything wrong...

Two words: Full Throttle.
I'm really certain that I hate beg threads.
While I also think Psychonauts was cool, I just don't agree with seeing it on here.

Full Throttle is fine and I'm pretty sure its on the wishlists top 10. So you can shut right up.

It was fine, but it was too short.

Psychonauts came out in 2005 and there are already games from 2005 on GOG. Also, it fits within the $6-$10 price range. So why the hell not?

I don't know, maybe because some parts were cool but some parts were really lame. I am just prejudiced against this game because I got bored of it and couldn't finish it while most people I know are still like "OMG AWEXOME GAME!"
