wodmarach: over an hour in all I can ask is was he born before the case that meant evolution had to be taught in the US? My 13 yo niece could point out the holes in the arguments (infact she has already) I'm sorry USA you need to look at your education system...
I think the one thing they could do is to limit homeschooling. My guess is that this is the biggest problem they have.

SimonG: But evolution is just a THEORY it isn't proven!

Here, the real history of the world!
Some of that went over my head but I did get the part about the Mountain Dew being the best soda ever made! There's no debating that one! It just plain is!

Tbh I think they need to introduce a proper nationwide set of exams other than SAT's that ensure a base level of education from what I can tell the US allows school districts to set their own education levels for grades...
I've been watching for 12 minutes . When is the stupid stuff supposed to start?

Stop knocking the American educational system and implying we are not too bright.

You guys are just jealous that we are smart enough to have figured out how to destroy the entire world before anybody else and have the means to do so at our whim. How much smarter do we need to be really?

Umm, wait.... never mind.

I just had a funny thought. You'd better hope we are smart enough not to pull the trigger.

I crack myself up
"Evolutionists believe a dog came from a rock"

Okay I stopped listening. You gotta stop putting brain-killing shit in the water over there.

Where do evolutionists believe we came from? I'm guessing the big bang but then that begs the question, where did the basis for this big bang come from?

This stuff is all pretty funny I think. People don't know shit about what has actually caused us to be here today beyond what in all cases they take on faith.

I did warn you he skipped the logic chain for evolution just to make it look dumb...
What's a merry go around?

She goes around Nazareth carrying God's baby, that's what!

( I still crack myself up)

I don't get why there is so many catholics in US that saying "evolution is a lie".

In my country I never met catholic that was saying something similar. They accept evolution and they are still strong believers.

Well yeah, but big bang has really nothing to do with evolution, and what you are talking about is historical development of species and that's another thing entirely. And even then, I don't think anyone believes that big bang caused this development any more than my mother caused me to write this post - another two entirely different things.

Oh I know some, but all those people know about the problem is that 'People came from apes and there was no Adam and Eve,' so ... Yeah.

Well, yeah. Chances are that with the number of dogs and rocks, there's been a dog that was inside a rock (like in a crack on the rock or something) and then came from it... or maybe a more perverted meaning. I think both have probably happened. I believe. :p

It's an odd thing but it seems to be related to america's isolationist attitude (from before the world wars) while europe was undergoing massive theological and cultural changes in the 1800's etc the US was well cut off, half of it had no regular communications with the rest of the country let alone the rest of the world.
But anyway in the old world we had time to slowly adjust our thinking by the time of darwin most theologians agreed the bible shouldn't be taken literally (again those that disagreed mostly moved to a certain country) and OTOOS wasn't that big of a shock, at the same time in the US for many areas the only schools were bible schools and they had started to treat the bible as a historical record. (Put it this way some roman catholic groups in the US called the last pope the antipope because he accepted evolution...)
