Hi everybody,

(sorry for my bad english)
I would suggest the game in question, perhaps with the espansion "The Rise of the Witch-king"

Actually the game works without problems in Windows 7, abandoned for years, lives thanks to the amateur project "RotWK Unofficial Patch 2.02".

I hope I have made a nice proposal :-)

welcome to GOG, you want to use this to vote for games you would like to see on GOG: http://www.gog.com/en/wanted
Both BoTME 1 and 2 would be great addition to GoG catalogue, but i don't think it's going to happen
Thanks for the responses!
I add my vote in the wishlist

I dream this game into the GOG catalogue :-)
Would not be surprised to see it next Christmas, while the Hobbit is playing, as a part of the newer games scheme on GOG.
I didn't realize there was a second Battle for Middle Earth. Is it unique enough from the first for a purchase?

I haven't played the first, but it's certainly damn good.

Absolutely. BFME 2 is a much better game. It doesn't follow the movie like the first one did, so much more of middle earth is represented. The gameplay is better because it no longer uses the preset locations for your bases. You can build anywhere, and there are many more units available. It has Tom Bombadil in it too.
It's one of the best RTS's ever made. Really.

To be honest, out of the RTS games I've played I'd consider the best to be Age of Empires 2 or Rise of Nations, based on your modernization preference. But yeah, if I can find the game for cheap and a laptop that won't bog down I'll give it a try.

Rise of Nations is the best RTS ever made, IMO.
