I wanted to buy a game using a prepaid Vanilla Visa card, but I can't because your service doesn't accept it. It just gives out a generic denial message with reasons as to why it was denied. I registered that card and double-checked the registration. I tried adding it on PayPal but it isn't working. I'm not old enough to buy games with regular credit/debit cards. What do I do?

Some of US pre-paid cards are only usable for purchases in the US. Since GOG.com's bank processer is in Cyprus, some banks will deny the charges by default. You can either try contacting your bank, or see if you can arrange a trade with another gogger, by gifting him items of equivalent value from another service.
Maybe a couple of americans could suggest pre-paid cards that work with gog, and I hope you'll be able to enjoy these games soon.

But what good would that do? I already put all of my money into this prepaid card.

The problem might be that some Visa gift cards are only valid for transactions in the US. Check the small print on yours.

When you tried it on paypal, were you trying to add it to a paypal account? If so, try using it directly rather than adding it to an account. Go to checkout, and choose paypal. At the point where you're asked to log in, a bit further down the page there's an option that says "Don't have a PayPal account?". Try that?
nvm

Go to Steam and buy the cheapest thing there, just to see if it works. If it does, then just trade Steam games for GOG games with other users. If it doesn't work, try with GamersGate.

Hmm, so paypal doesn't like it either. Starting to sound like there's a problem with the card... Sorry, I'm out of ideas.

It works with Steam, Amazon, and other miscllaneous stores. I bought these cards before and that's how they always worked. They don't work with Gamersgate or GOG though.

Not working with Paypal is a pretty weird one though...

That's because GOG and GG are european sites, and your cards probably work only with american sites. Just buy Steam Games and trade them for GOG games. We have a thread for this, go there and post something like: "I'll buy a game from Steam for a game of similar value from GOG" or something like that. Also, remember to post a wishlist in the GOG community gifting thread.

Paypal is American though... That's why GOG and GG through Paypal should work. Your solution is probably the best though.

Yeah, but he said he can't get Paypal to work with the card, didn't he?
