Have you got any questions for the developers of The Night of the Rabbit? Tell us! The most interesting ones will be used in an upcoming Q&A. If we use your question, you'll be awarded a $9.99 gift-code! Please submit questions before tomorrow, at 10:00AM GMT. In the meantime, we invite you to have a first look at the game:
For the developers:

- What film/literary sources inspired the game?
- Does the incorporation of magic spells provide for different ways to solve puzzles, and if so, how?
- As Daedalic has grown, how has the company balanced keeping true to 2D point and click roots with providing unique game experiences?
- Stories with young leads have interesting opportunities to tell tales of growing up, loss of innocence, etc. that appeal to young and old alike. What would you say is the underlying theme of the story in Night of the Rabbit?

cowtune: I'm new to posting. Where do we post questions for the developers of this game?
Thanks.
I think this thread is the correct place for your questions. Probably the mods are reading this thread and select those questions that appear interesting to them. At least lots of others post their questions here. Perhaps it helps if you start your post with something like 'Question to the developers:' in bold face (the B button on the left of the write window)

nijuu: I'm actually bit confused.some posts seem to indicate this comes with soundtrack but game card says it doesn't.if it doesn't why not?.
German retail version and Steam Premium versions contain the soundtrack. Steam regular and GOG version do not.
Will the soundtrack and audiobook be available as standalones or is Steam going to be the only way to get them digitally ?

For the dev:
From what I saw this is game that could appeal to a child's imagination and sense of wonder.
How hard was it to find the right balance between accessibility and complexity while designing the game and its story ?
That´s a great question Nimo : )
Question: Would you one day like to bring out a darker feeling game, eg "Night of the Rabbit" could have been a dark tale, behind every cute bunny lies potentially a ferocious, vicious killer rabbit. Would too dark a tale break the balance between younger audiences and older adventure gamers.
The graphics looks beautiful for this game. And I do agree with deonast that this could be a darker story game. Well, I think I'm going to pre-order as I do like the artistic style & the atmosphere of the story, with the free Deponia game to boot (I don't own any Deponia saga games).

Questions for the devs:
a) Since you've teamed up with a film distributor for the Russian edition, do you think the story could be turned into an animated or even a live-action movie?

b) Though we don't know how the story progresses yet, could there be a sequel with young Jerry and/or the realm of Mousewood since the company has the Deponia saga & the Edna & Harry games?
Well here's my questions:

!. Do you think about going beyond point&click adventure games genre with your future titles? With your narrative talents and rich imagination you could create e.g. a fantastic old-school rpg game.

2. A lot of indie developers are releasing their games on consoles and handhelds nowadays. What are your thoughts on this and do you have any similar plans?
Edit: Never mind

Aaron86: I'm personally holding out for Albion.
But Albion is a crpg game, and Crosmando was asking about a point-n-click adwenture.

I gifted this to myself in hope of redeeming the game itself and giving away Deponia - which I already have. But I got only one code, for The Night of The Rabbit. Maybe you get Deponia only after 29th or maybe it just doesn't work that way for people who already have it.

I'd suggest asking Barry, who is currently running a "Vote Aquaria, win Deponia" competition. My guess would be that he got Deponia from preordering Night of the Rabbit, but not sure.

Edit: Indeed, Barry posted how to get an extra Deponia here.
