TheEnigmaticT: Note to those who may have found my wording less than clear: I'll update the body of the news post tomorrow when I'm back in the office and can actually do that--I seem to have locked out my home IP--but as the developers have stated: the only exclusive part is the digital pre-order.

Wadjet Eye is good people, we've had a great time working with them so far, and I'm sure we're all looking forward to their newest release in a smidge under a month. ;)
Not sure if correct usage of "is". I would think "are" belongs in that sentence....

No, I can't help myself when it comes to correcting people. Just ask poor Tburger :D.

How about purchasing the rights for Emerald City Confidential back from Playfirst and bringing that here, too?
I tried, but they ain't selling. :(

As for my back catalog... that's up to GoG! ;)
SOLD!

MOAR!

You are correct, when referring to a named group like a company or a band or whatever, you are referring to a group of people instead of a single entity, so plural verbs and pronouns are used.

In proper grammar, you would be correct. But I'm actually using a colloquialism. "X is good people."

This, incidentally, drives most of the other folks at the office nuts. Because they know my grammar is, generally, impeccable. I can lead them to great doubt when I'm quoting someone or using informal language. :P

@TheEnigmaticT (the quoting gets messed up after so many posts, at least, for me it does..)

That's why I wasn't sure about the exact usage since I figured that you were using a colloquialism :D. I blame my 10th grade English teacher for this linguistic zealousness :P

Pity about Playfirst.

GOG would be the perfect audience for your back catalog, so it would make sense for everybody.
Happy to see the Resonance here. The retro graphics looks great.

Welcome XII and Wadjet Eye!

Hopefully we will see other Wadjet Eye games here as well.
Good to see Wadjet Eye here on GOG. Resonance has certainly caught my interest. Not sure if I'll be pre-ordering, since I've been on a BIT of a spending-spree lately, but I'm keeping a very close eye on the game.

And thanks to Dave for the reassurance. The entire Botanicula ordeal was downright criminal, so I'm happy we won't be experiencing that again with this game.
As someone who owns boxed copies of Gemini Rue and Blackwell Deception and the Blackwell remastered bundle, I'm very happy about these news!

If there were nice extras, I would happily buy these games again if they were released on GOG.
The switch from movie to old school pixels in the trailer video was a little on the bizarre side...

But I can't fault anyone for that. I'm a huge adventure gamer, so a DRM-free, sub-ten dollar game is worth checking out ;) Looks good.
huh, looking at that preview the game sort of reminds me of "I have no mouth and I must scream" ...couldn't tell you why though.

JudasIscariot: Hi Dave. I always wanted to say thanks for the time when Wadjet Eye gave away The Shivah for free for a limited time. It was quite an interesting game, I never played a rabbi before.

Thanks again!
Oh wow, that was awhile ago. Happy you enjoyed it!
